Eligibilty Criteria

BPSC AE Educational Qualifications

Candidates appearing in the BPSC AE Examination should possess the following educational qualifications.

Educational Qualifications It is required that candidates possess a full-time degree in a recognized engineering discipline, e.g. civil, mechanical, or mechanical engineering.
Age Limit The age limit for BPSC Assistant Engineer is between 21 years to 37 years. As per the General Administrative Department govt of Bihar, the age relaxation will apply according to the candidate's category
Exam Pattern
  • BPSC AE exam questions will be objective in nature. MCQs.
  • BPSC AE exam questions will be set in both English and Hindi.
  • There will be a 1-hour exam for each subject.
  • In order to qualify for the General Hindi and General English papers, you must score at least 30 marks on each paper.
  • There will be a 0.25 penalty for any wrong answers in the BPSC AE Exam
