BPSC stands for Bihar Public Service Commission. BPSC was established to recruit qualified candidates for various civil service positions in Bihar. BPSC holds various examinations each year to recruit qualified personnel for various government departments.
The BPSC recruitment exam is used to fill all Group A, B, and C positions in the Bihar government, such as District President, Electoral Officer, Planning Officer, Food and Supply Inspector, and many others.
Latest Notification
BPSC 2022 notification will be released in the month of August and closed in the month of September (approximately). It will be released on the official website of the BPSC and candidates need to fill the form as per the mentioned rules and regulations.

Registration
The application process for the exam is online and they have to fill up the application forms available on the official website. The steps to apply for the online BPSC 2022 exam are provided below.
- Step 1: Visit the official website of BPSC- https://www.bpsc.bih.nic.in/Application.htm
- Step 2: Under the important announcements, look for the BPSC online application and click on it.
- Step 3: Click on new registration and complete the BPSC registration process.
- Step 4: You will receive the registration number and password on your mail-id or the phone number.
- Step 5: Log in using your credential and click on apply now and complete your application form and proceed with the document upload.
- Step 6: Upload all the required documents like previous year mark sheets, Aadhar card, caste certificate, etc. in good quality and submit them.
- Step 7: Proceed with the application fee payment process and pay the mentioned application fees online through any provided options.
- Step 8: After successful fee payment, save a copy and take a printout of the application form along with the fee payment receipt for future references.
Eligibility Criteria

BPSC Eligibility: Nationality
The candidate must be either:
- A citizen of India
- A citizen of Bihar
BPSC Eligibility: Age Limits
The candidate applying for the BPSC must fulfil the age criteria as per the official notification. The age criteria for the same are provided below.
- The candidate applying for the post must have attained the age of 20 years and not have attained the age of 37.
- Relaxations in the upper age limit are provided to the candidates belonging to the reserved category like OBC/ST/SC Category.
BPSC Eligibility: Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in the concerned discipline from any recognised university.
Application Fee

Exam Pattern
The BPSC is a two-tier-based examination and candidates have to clear the Prelims as well as the Mains examination for the final selection. Overall there will be 150 questions for 1 mark each in Prelims and occupy candidates for 2 hours. Whereas, the main exam is based on a written test and is also called subjective Type examination.
BPSC Prelims Exam Pattern 2022
The candidate will be given 150 questions that they have to complete within 120 minutes on an OMR based sheet. Multiple choice-based objective-type questions will be included in the BPSC 2022 prelims and there is no negative marking.
