BPSC stands for Bihar Public Service Commission. BPSC was established to recruit qualified candidates for various civil service positions in Bihar. BPSC holds various examinations each year to recruit qualified personnel for various government departments.
The BPSC recruitment exam is used to fill all Group A, B, and C positions in the Bihar government, such as District President, Electoral Officer, Planning Officer, Food and Supply Inspector, and many others.

The BPSC is a two-tier-based examination and candidates have to clear the Prelims as well as the Mains examination for the final selection. Overall there will be 150 questions for 1 mark each in Prelims and occupy candidates for 2 hours. Whereas, the main exam is based on a written test and is also called subjective Type examination.
The candidate will be given 150 questions that they have to complete within 120 minutes on an OMR based sheet. Multiple choice-based objective-type questions will be included in the BPSC 2022 prelims and there is no negative marking.
