Eligibilty Criteria
  • Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • The candidate must be a minimum of 21 years old.
  • General category candidates must be maximum of 37 years old and the candidates from OBC must be maximum of 40 years old.
  • Must be a Citizen of India.

Bihar Police Age limit:

  • Police Sub Inspector:
    • Minimum age: 20 years
    • Maximum age: 37 years
  • Probation Officer, Labor Enforcement Officer/Rural Development Officer/Supply Inspector/Block SC & ST Welfare Officer:
    • Minimum age: 21 years
    • Maximum age: 37 years
  • All other posts:
    • Minimum age: 22 years and the
    • Maximum age: 37 years

Exam Pattern

BPSSC 2022 Exam Pattern will be released along with the official brochure, meanwhile, candidates can also check BPSC Exam Pattern based on the previous year’s pattern. Candidates can check the exam style of Bihar Police for the written exam as given:

  • The Bihar Police SI Prelims exam are designed offline mode in written mode
  • Questions are designed in the form of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) form.
  • Candidates need to have at least 30% marks in the exam to qualify for this round and get shortlisted for the Mains exam.
  • There will be a negative marking of 0.2 marks deducted for each wrong answer

Bihar Police SI Mains Exam Pattern:

  • Written exam via offline mode
  • The exam contains Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
  • Candidates must achieve a minimum of 30% marks in the General Hindi exam. Marks obtained in Hindi paper will not be taken for the merit list.
  • The paper has a negative marking, Hence 0.2 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
  • The number of Candidates selected for the Physical Test will be 6-times more than the Vacancies available for the post.

SI Notification

Bihar Police Notification 2022

The Central Selection Board of police releases an official notification for all the interested and eligible candidates for the post of police. The application process for the year 2022 will begin in July. The candidates are advised to apply by August to be considered for selection in Bihar Police SI. The students are advised to work on their calculations as the exam contains more numerical questions. The candidates will also be required to go through a physical test after clearing the written exams.
