    There is not a provision for negative marking in the BSF Tradesman Recruitment exam. For every correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded, however, no marks will be deducted in case of wrong answers.
Eligibilty Criteria

Border Security Force (BSF) in the official document released by them has given the detailed eligibility parameters for the aspiring candidates who are going to fill out the form of the BSF Tradesman Recruitment 2022. The candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria given below.

In case of any discrepancies found by the commission, candidates will not be allowed to give the exam. Also if the candidates are not able to fulfil the necessary eligibility criteria required, their application forms will be rejected and they will not be allowed to sit in the Computer Based Test.

BSF Tradesman Age Limit:

The minimum age limit of the candidates for the BSF Tradesman Recruitment 2022 will be 18 years and the maximum age limit for candidates will be 23 years for both male and female candidates.

This year's official notification regarding the BSF Tradesman Recruitment has been released by the BSF, therefore, the conditions of age relaxation given to the candidates are given below:

BSF Tradesman Educational Qualification:

The educational Qualification for the BSF Tradesman Recruitment 2022 is mentioned below:

1- Candidates should have passed their matriculation or High School from a recognized board of India.

2- They should possess the ITI certificate issued by the National Council For Vocational Training (NCVT).

3- They should have 2 years of experience in the relevant trade.

OR,

Should have completed one year’s course from Industrial Training Institute for Vocational Institute

And they should have the certificate of the course with one year of experience

BSF Tradesman Medical Standards:

The medical standards are provided below in the table:

Exam Pattern

The first paper will be a Computer-based Test to be conducted online mode. The first paper will comprise of:

  • The exam will be of 100 marks for 100 questions
  • The paper is divided into four sections General Awareness, Mathematics, General Hindi and English, and General Intelligence and Reasoning
  • Exam duration will be two hours or 120 minutes

BSF Tradesman Physical Fitness Test:

After the Computer-based test is concluded, the merit list is prepared for the candidates shortlisted for the physical fitness test.

The physical fitness test for both male and female candidates are written here in the tabulated form:

BSF Tradesman Trade Test:

After qualifying for the Physical fitness test candidates have to appear for the Trade Test they have applied for. There will be only one test to be conducted for each candidate. The Trade Test is Qualifying as it will not contain any marks:

BSF Tradesman Medical Examination:

After qualifying all the stages, the final merit list is prepared for the candidates undergoing the Medical Examination.

The Medical Examination will be carried out by the officers of the Medical Board of Border Security Forces (BSF).
