Eligibilty Criteria

Delhi Development Authority in the notification every year mentions the eligibility criteria of the aspirants to appear in the DDA Patwari examination. Aspirants must ensure the eligibility criteria before applying for DDA Patwari recruitment.

DDA Patwari Eligibility: Nationality

Aspirants must fulfill the nationality rules as mentioned below:

  • Aspirants must be a citizen of India or a subject of Bhutan or Nepal.
  • Any Tibetan refugee permanently settling in India before 1st January 1962.
  • Indian origin person migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Kenya, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Uganda, Vietnam, Zambia, Malawi, etc permanently settling down in India.

DDA Patwari Eligibility: Age Limit

Aspirants belonging from 21 years to 27 years of age are eligible to apply for the DDA Patwari post. The age relaxation for the reserved category aspirants is the following:

Ex-Servicemen (OBC) 06 years (3 years + 3 Years) after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the Closing date for receipt of application
Ex-Servicemen (UR/GEN) 03 years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the closing date for receipt of application.
Widows, divorced women, and women judicially separated from their husbands and who are not re-married Up to the age of 35 years (up to 40 yrs for SC/ST & 38 for OBC)
Ex-Servicemen (SC/ST) 08 years (3 yr + 5 yr) after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the Closing date for receipt of application.

DDA Patwari Eligibility: Educational Qualifications

  • All the aspirants appearing for DDA Patwari recruitment must be graduates from any recognized university.
  • Aspirants must be proficient in computer knowledge.
  • Aspirants knowing Hindi/Urdu are also highly preferred.
Exam Pattern

DDA Patwari exam is a two-tier examination. The first selection process is based on Prelims examination and then only qualified aspirants are called for the Mains examination for final selection.

DDA Patwari Prelims Exam Pattern 2022

The online or computer-based exam is conducted for the DDA Patwari prelims exam. A total of 120 questions are asked in the examination containing 120 marks. The exam pattern of prelims is shown below:

The main exam consists of five sections including General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability, General Awareness, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, Comprehension, and English Language & Comprehension and Hindi Language. Each question consists of 1 mark and for every wrong answer, .33 mark is deducted.

DDA Patwari selection process is based on two stages-Prelims and Mains. The entire syllabus of these two stages of examination is the following:
