The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) in Chandigarh has issued a recruitment notice for 162 Group C Staff Nurse Positions. Graduates with a bachelor's degree are able to apply for this position online. Interested candidates can apply online for the Directorate of Medical Education and Research Recruitment 2021.

Part-II Syllabus

DMER Syllabus 2022: Part-II

There is a total of 23 questions that could be asked in a variety of subjects, including history, news, literature, geography, civic education, and environmental culture. The types of questions asked at each place may differ.

There may be a difference in the number of questions in each domain.
Candidates who scored in the 50th percentile or higher on the written screening test would be regarded as qualified.

The 10 marks for socioeconomic conditions and experience will be distributed as follows:

If neither the applicant nor any member of the applicant's family (father, mother, spouse, brothers, and sons) is, was, or has been a regular employee of the Government of Chandigarh or any other State Government or Government of India. (5 points)
If the applicant is one of the following:
- a widow; or the applicant's first or second child and his father died before he becomes forty-two years old; or the applicant's first or second child and his father died before he turned fifteen years old;
- If the petitioner is a member of a denotified tribe (Vimukt Jatis and Tapriwas Jatis) or Nomadic tribe that is neither Scheduled Caste nor Backward Class; (5 points)
- Experience: 0.5 mark for each year or part of a year of experience in any Department/ Board/ Corporation/ Company/ Statutory Body/ Commission I Authority of the Government of Haryana

Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants should check the qualifying conditions before registering for the DMER Recruitment 2022. Educational credentials, age limits, and nationality are among the DMER eligibility conditions.

No application for any position in the service will be considered unless the applicant is:

(a) An Indian citizen;

b) A Nepalese subject or

c) A Bhutanese subject or

(d) A Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of establishing permanently in India; or

(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated to India from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia , Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam to settle permanently in India.

A candidate in any of the categories (b), (c), or (d) must be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been granted by the Chandigarh administration and presented to the recruiting authority.

DMER Recruitment Educational Qualifications

Candidates must hold a diploma or equivalent in general nursing and midwifery from a recognised board/university/institution, or a B.Sc. Nursing or equivalent from a recognised board/university/institution, and be registered as a nurse and midwife with the State Nursing Council.
As detailed below, an ICT skill course is essentially required.
Candidates must present either a certificate of completion of an ICT skills course on a computer course CCC-80 hours from a government-approved institution, or a certificate of completion of an ICT skills course on a computer course CCC-80 hours from a government-approved
An ISO 9001-certified or well-known institution
Government of India's Department of Electronics Accreditation or Computer Course DOEACC. or
At the time of their appointment, they received information from the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) and its authorized institutes.

DMER Recruitment Age Limits

The following age limits are provided in the notification for the different categories of candidates.

Application Fee

At the applicant's convenience, the DMER application fee can be paid online using credit/debit cards or internet banking.

The application cost for the DMER test is INR 1000 for general candidates and INR 500 for reserved candidates. On the other hand, Applicants that fall into the PwD category are exempt from paying any fees.
