About
DRDO stands for Defence Research Development Organization. It is national level recruitment conducted for the selection of Apprentice Trainee at a different level. This recruitment is conducted by Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE) under DRDO in Bengaluru.
The DRDO 2022 Recruitment is conducted broadly at two levels- the first is the Document verification and the second is the Interview session of the shortlisted candidates with the authorities. Candidates need to submit all the relevant documents to become eligible for the selection.
Latest Notification
The Defence Research Development releases the official notification of DRDO GTRE 2022 Recruitment for the selection of Apprentice Trainees under three different categories. These categories include Graduate Apprentice, ITI Trainee Apprentice, and Diploma Apprentice. This notification is available on the official website of DRDO: www.drdo.gov.in.
The DRDO Recruitment notification is an important document that makes candidates aware of the selection process and the registration process. The notification carries important information regarding the DRDO GTRE 2022 Exam including exam dates, exam pattern, syllabus, and exam day guidelines.
Registration
All the interested apprentice candidates should apply for the exam only after checking the eligibility criteria. Candidates must fill out and submit the DRDO Recruitment application form via online mode. Candidates can follow the following steps to fill out the application form for the DRDO Recruitment exam. Step 1: For Graduate Apprentice/ Diploma Apprentice: Visit the official website of MHRD and registration should be on www.mhrdnats.gov.in and for ITI Candidates registration should be on www.apprenticeshipindia.org.
Step 2: Look for the button displaying new registration. Click on it.
Step 3: Fill in all the necessary valid details in the registration form like Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Contact number, Email Id, etc.
Step 4: Click on Submit and note down the system-generated registration ID and Password for future reference. This registration Id is important when filling out the Application form for DRDO.
Step 5: Look for the ‘What New’ section on the website: www.rac.gov.in or www.drdo.gov.in.
Step 6: Fill in all the necessary information in the application form such as educational details, residential details, date of birth, etc.
Step 7: Now, candidates need to upload the scanned images of their required documents of qualifying examination, signature, and a passport-sized photograph.
Step 8: Preview the filled application form and make required corrections if any.
Step 9: Keep a signed printout of the Application form along with the original documents submitted online for future document verification process at GTRE, Bengaluru.

DRDO Recruitment Educational Qualifications 2022
Candidates aspiring to join the Apprenticeship Trainee upon the qualification of the DRDO Recruitment Examination should possess the following educational qualifications.

| ITI Apprentice Trainees | The candidate should have a certificate in a vocational course 2 years after completing the secondary stage of school education recognized by the AICTE. OR Candidates who are undergoing any Sandwich course to hold a certificate in vocational education. |
| Graduate Apprentice ( General Stream) | Candidate must possess a degree of graduation in any general stream like B.Com/ B.Sc/ B.A by a recognized university. |
DRDO Recruitment Age Limit 2022

Application Fee
As per the official notification of DRDO Recruitment, there is no charge for the Registration and Application form of DRDO. Candidates can fill out the application form online and once shortlisted will be informed through E-Mail or the information will be available on the official website.
Exam Pattern
As mentioned in the official notification of DRDO Apprenticeship Trainee Recruitment 2022, it depends on the number of applications received, there will be a written exam or interview followed by a document verifications process. Therefore it is not confirmed whether there will be a written examination or not.
