FCI Eligibility 2022: Nationality

The applicant must have any one of the following nationalities to apply for FCI Recruitment 2022:

  • A Citizen of India
  • A subject of Nepal
  • The subject of Bhutan
  • A refugee from Tibet who migrated to India before 01 January 1962 to permanently settle in India
  • A person of Indian origin who moved from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, East African countries (mentioned in the notification pdf), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam to settle in India permanently.

FCI Eligibility 2022: Age Limit

  • 1-year experience is required in the case of Diploma holders
Assistant Grade 3
  • AG - 3 (General/Depot): Graduation in any field/stream & Computer Proficiency
  • AG - 3 (Accounts): Bachelor of Commerce & Computer Proficiency
  • AG - 3 (Technical): B.Sc. in Agriculture OR B.Sc. with Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Botany / Zoology / Food Science any one subject OR B. Tech / BE in Food Science and Technology /Agricultural Engineering / Biotechnology/Food Science
Stenographer
  • Graduation & "O" level qualification of DOEACC/ Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Application
  • Typing speed of 40 WPM in typing and 80 WPM in shorthand

  • Graduation in any stream
  • 30 WPM Hindi typing speed

Exam Pattern

There are mainly three stages of selection for each post under the FCI Recruitment which are Phase-I exam, Phase-II exam and Skill Test (depending upon the post). The Phase-I exam is common for all the posts while the Phase-II exam is specific to the post.

The candidates who will clear all the stages of the selection will be recruited under the post. Below are the elaborated details on the exam pattern for various FCI posts.

FCI Phase-I Exam Pattern

The Phase-I exam is common for all the posts under FCI. There will be a total of 100 questions in the Phase-I exam and each question carries 1 mark. The 1/4th of the mark assigned to that question will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Here is the section-wise exam pattern for FCI Phase-I:
