NTA conducts ICAR AIEEA on behalf of ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) for admission into B. Tech, BSc, and MTech courses in Central and State Agricultural Universities. ICAR AIEEA 2022 Admissions to agricultural and technology courses will be based purely on candidates' performances in ICAR AIEEA 2022 Scores.

Registration

AIEEA Application form 2022 will be available on the official website of NTA in the month of March 2022 tentatively. Candidates have to fill the application form online by filling in details, uploading scanned images, and making the fee payment. Candidates who paid the fee via challan had to post the computer-generated application form with challan to the exam coordinator.

Nationality – Candidate must be an Indian citizen

Age Criteria – Candidate’s age must be 16 years as of August 31, 2022.

Educational Qualifications –

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board.
Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/ Mathematics/Agriculture/Home Science in 10+2.
Candidates who have studied Agriculture and not Physics or Chemistry are eligible for admission in the State of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh.
Those who wish to opt for stream-A in the entrance exam must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Agriculture/Home Science subjects.
Those who wish to opt for stream-B have to pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects.
Candidates need to secure 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 to be eligible for AIEEA 2022
Reserved category candidates need to secure 40% aggregate marks in 10+2 to become eligible for AIEEA 2022.

Counselling

Candidates qualifying the entrance exam will be invited to take part in the ICAR AIEEA counselling 2022. The ICAR AIEEA 2022 counselling will start with the registration process and then candidates have to participate in choice filling process and seat allotment. During the ICAR AIEEA counselling 2022, candidates have to bring their original documents with themselves. Any candidate who fail to attend the ICAR AIEEA 2022 counselling will lose their candidacy for the admission.

After conducting four rounds of ICAR AIEEA counselling 2022, the varsity will hold the final/mop-up round for the remaining seats. Candidates who do not satisfy the eligibility criteria will have to forfeit their seat. For more information check the points given below.

After registration, candidates have to download their ICAR AIEEA 2022 counselling letter which is released along with the scorecard.
Then, candidates have to select the programmes and universities of their choice on the basis of the marks scored by them in the entrance test.
The counselling committee will release the maximum four-seat allotment list based on the choice filling.
After the declaration of seat allotment list, selected candidates have to download the provisional admission letter and claim their seat by visiting the campus and paying the admission fee.
NTA will conduct a final/ mop-up round if the seats remain vacant even after four rounds of counselling.
To fill the vacant seats remaining after the mop-up round, the participating universities may conduct the offline counselling.

AIEEA 2022 is conducted in online mode i.e. computer-based test. There are 150 questions in the question paper and consist of 600 marks. The type of question paper is objective type. The language of the question paper will be available in Hindi as well as English. Candidates have to complete the question paper in 2 hours and 30 minutes. Each question carries equal marks. Candidates will be awarded 4 marks for every correct response. There is a provision of negative marking. Every Incorrect response will result in a deduction of 1 mark.
