Eligibilty Criteria

For the INET exam, the basic eligibility criteria consist of education qualification and age limit. Candidates can apply only for one job profile for which they are eligible, based on their educational background. The detailed educational criteria and age limit is specified below :

Exam Pattern
  • The recruitment process consists of three steps: Written INET exam, SSB Interview, and Medical Examination
  • The INET examination paper is divided into 4 sections
  • There are a total of 100 questions in the paper
  • Only the candidates who clear the INET exam will be eligible for an SSB interview
  • The paper will be of multiple-choice questions
  • There will be negative marking for wrong answers
  • Each correct answer awards 4 marks while for each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted
  • The candidate has to score a minimum of 40% in each section

INET 2022 Written Exam Pattern

An online screening test consists of a single paper divided into 4 sections; each carrying 25 questions and 100 marks. The examination will most likely be conducted in the month of February 2022.

  • Shortlisted candidates are called for SSB Interview on basis of INET rank cum preference and choice
  • Candidates need to qualify for all sections in the INET exam
  • Shortlisted candidates will be informed through mail or through SMS
