The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) holds a recruiting process to conduct an examination to choose candidates for teaching and non-teaching positions. It is a self-governing body within the Ministry of Education of the Indian government. Every year, the Kendriya Vidyalaya recruits for several teaching positions, including Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs), and Primary Teachers (PRTs).

Latest Notification

The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, New Delhi, will soon issue a notification for filling out applications for teacher and non-teaching positions. KVS has issued an announcement for Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), Primary Teacher, Principal, Vice-Principal, Librarian, LDC, and other open positions.

The KVS TGT notification is an important document that makes candidates aware of the examination process and the registration process. The notification carries important information regarding the KVS TGT Exam including exam dates, exam pattern, syllabus and exam day guidelines.

Registration

It is advisable for all the candidates to apply for the exam only after checking the eligibility criteria. Candidates must fill out and submit the KVS TGT application form via online mode to appear in the exam. Candidates can follow the following steps to fill out the application form for the KVS TGT exam.

KVS TGT Registration Process

First, candidates need to register themselves on the official website of the exam. Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit the Official Website

Step 2: Look for the notification displaying new registration. Click on it.

Step 3: Fill in all the necessary details in the registration form like Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Contact number, Email Id etc.

Step 4: Click on Submit and note down the system-generated registration ID and Password.

KVS TGT Application Form

In the next step, candidates need to fill up the application form forKVS TGT with the help of the following steps:

Step 1: Log in with the registration ID and Password on the KVS TGT official website.

Step 2: Fill in all the necessary information in the application form such as educational details, preference for exam centres etc.

Step 3: Now, candidates need to upload the scanned images of their signature and a passport-sized photograph.

Step 4: Preview the application form and make required corrections if any.

Eligibility Criteria

The KVS TGT Eligibility Criteria 2022 has not been released yet. Till the release of the official notification, candidates can follow the eligibility criteria of the last year i.e. 2021. Not many changes are expected in the eligibility criteria so candidates can follow last year's data for the same.

Candidates need to fulfil the eligibility criteria for KVS TGT to appear for the exam.

KVS TGT Educational Qualifications

Candidates must have completed four years of Integrated Degree courses from NCERT Regional College of Education with a minimum of 50% marks OR a bachelor's degree in related subjects with a minimum of 50% marks.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in education.
With a B.ED degree, candidates must have passed the CTET Paper II.
Computer skills and a diploma in relevant disciplines are required.

KVS TGT Age Limit

For the post of KVS TGT the maximum Age Limit is 35 Years (As of 30.09.2018)
Candidates belonging to the SC/ ST Category are given 5 years of age relaxation.
Candidates belonging to the OBC category are given 5 years of age relaxation.
Female students are given 5 years of age relaxation.

Nationality for KVS TGT Exam

The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
A subject of Nepal, Bhutan.
A Tibetian refugee who arrived in India before the 1st of January 1962 with the intention of settling permanently in India.
Migrated to India permanently from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam.

Application Fee

The fees must be paid through net banking, debit card, or credit card.The application fee details have not yet been released by the authority. Candidates can get an idea of the application fee by checking the fee details of the last year -

Exam Pattern

Candidates will be evaluated using a two-tiered selection procedure. Due to the high number of applicants for this position, candidates must prepare thoroughly. In order to prepare effectively, you must become familiar with the KVS exam pattern.
