Eligibilty Criteria

Candidates planning to appear for the exam must fulfill the minimum requirement set by the conducting body. Candidates must know the criteria before buying the application form. These include:

  • Candidates must be an Indian national.
  • Candidates must have a bachelor's degree with 50% aggregate marks (45% for EWS and PwD candidates from Maharashtra.
  • The bachelor's degree must be in Hotel Management and Catering Technology.
  • The degree will not be recognized unless it is from an institution recognized by All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government.
  • Candidates in their final year of exam will also be eligible for MAH MHMCT CET.
Exam Pattern

Aspirants must familiarize themselves with the exam pattern to avoid any surprises on the exam day. One question will be displayed at a time and 1 option out of 4 must be selected. Candidates can come back to a question if they click on “Save & Next” or “Mark for Review & Next”.

The color palette displayed on the right side of the screen will have the following options: 1) question has not been visited, 2) question has not been answered, 3) question has been answered, 4) question has been answered and marked for review, and 5) questions has been answered and marked for review.
