What is MAT Exam?
MAT stands for Management Aptitude Test, which is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA). It is a standardized test that measures the aptitude of candidates in various areas such as Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, and Indian and Global Environment.
MAT scores are accepted by over 600 management institutes across India for admission to their various postgraduate management programs, such as MBA, PGDM, and allied programs. MAT is conducted four times a year, in February, May, September, and December, and is available in both paper-based and computer-based formats.

Management Aptitude Test is a standardized test conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) to evaluate the aptitude of candidates seeking admission to various MBA, PGDM, and allied management programs in India. Make sure to enter the correct details in the form as any discrepancies can lead to rejection of your application.
- Step 3: Upload your photograph and signature the next step is to upload your recent passport-sized photograph and signature in the specified format. The photograph should be in color and must have a white background. The signature should be done in black ink on a white paper.
- Step 4: Select the mode of exam: In this step, you need to select the mode of exam - either paper-based or computer-based. You also need to select the test city where you want to appear for the exam.

Registration
MAT 2025 Registration process is completely online. Go through all the detailed steps before applying for MAT 2025 exam.
- To begin with MAT application process, candidates have to register by providing their email ID and mobile number.
- After that, candidates need to verify their email ID and mobile number by mentioning the OTP that they receive.
- Then, candidates must log in using the login credentials to fill MAT application form.
- Candidates must upload the scanned copy of their passport size photograph and signature. Make sure to upload all the required details in the prescribed format only.
- MAT 2025 application fees can be paid in an online mode through Debit Card, Credit Card & Net banking.

Exam Pattern
AIMA conducts the MAT exam in both online mode and offline modes. Candidates can select the mode at their convenience. Knowing the MAT exam pattern 2025 is a must before appearing for the exam. As per the exam pattern of MAT 2025, the exam will have a total of 200 objective-type questions (multiple choice questions) divided into five sections

The duration of the exam is of 2 hours and 30 minutes (150 minutes). Each section has 40 questions and each question carries 1 mark. For each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted. Candidates are advised to strategize their preparation as per the exam pattern of MAT 2025. It will allow them to score better in the exam.
