MCAT (Medical College Admission Test)

The Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) is a standardized exam used in the United States and Canada to evaluate applicants for medical schools.

The MCAT consists of four sections: Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems, Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological Systems, Psychological, Social, and Biological Foundations of Behavior, and Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills. The test is computer-based and takes approximately 7.5 hours to complete.

The Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems section tests a student’s knowledge of foundational concepts in biology and biochemistry, including molecular biology, genetics, and cellular processes. The Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological Systems section tests a student’s knowledge of foundational concepts in chemistry and physics, including thermodynamics, electrochemistry, and organic chemistry.

UKCAT (United Kingdom Clinical Aptitude Test)

The UKCAT consists of five sections: Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, Decision Making, and Situational Judgement. The test is scored on a scale from 300 to 900, with a median score of 600.

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is a standardized exam used in India to evaluate applicants for medical and dental schools.
