Eligibilty Criteria

Candidates wishing to apply for the MGVCL Vidyut Sahayak recruitment exam must know the details of the eligibility process which are mentioned below:

Age Limit: Applicants wishing to apply for the recruitment exams must not be over 30 years of age. However, the maximum age limit is 35 years for candidates belonging to reserved categories. The maximum age limit varies for different categories and is mentioned in the table below:

A candidate is Dependent on the retired employee of MGVCL Up to 35 years

Educational qualifications: Candidates wishing to apply for the MGVCL Vidyut Sahayak exams must hold a full-time degree in normal mode in either of the following- BA, BBA, BCA, B.Com, B.Sc, from a recognized Institution/University.

Domicile: Candidates appearing for the MGVCL Recruitment exam must be strictly domiciled in the state of Gujarat and must be well versed with the language and transcripts.

Exam Pattern

Analyzing the pattern of the exam boosts the preparation of the candidates and gives the candidates a clear understanding of each subject and the weightage it carries. The candidates must take note of all the significant points mentioned below before appearing for the exam:

  • The paper consists of a Written Test as well as Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
  • The total number of questions which will be coming is 100 for a maximum of 100 marks i.e each question carries 1 mark.
  • There is no negative marking in the exam.
  • The entire paper is divided into 6 sections, each carrying a different weightage. The sections along with their weightage are mentioned in the table below:
