The Council of Architecture (CoA) administers the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA), a national level entrance exam for candidates seeking admission to undergraduate architecture programs (5-year BArch). Candidates will have the option of taking one or all of the exams.
The Phase 2 and 3 exam dates for NATA 2025 have been revised. NATA 2025 for Phases 2 and 3 will now be held on July 2025 respectively. Previously, the exam was scheduled to take place on July 2025. The Phase 1 NATA 2025 exam date is June 12. The NATA 2025 registration process is now underway at nata.in. Candidates can submit their NATA 2025 application forms for the first phase until May. The deadline for submitting NATA 2025 application forms for the second and third phases will be announced soon. The NATA 2025 eligibility criteria have been relaxed by the CoA. Before submitting an application, all candidates must meet the following NATA eligibility requirements:
Age Restrictions: There are no age restrictions for taking the exam.
Required subject: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are required subjects in Class 12.
Qualifications: Candidates must have completed the 12th grade from a recognized board.
Marks: Candidates must obtain at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM), as well as 50% in the aggregate of the 10+2 level examination. Candidates from the SC, ST, OBC-NCL, or PwD (Persons with Disabilities) categories will be given a 5% mark relaxation in the total aggregate at the 10+2 level.
Diploma holders: Candidates who passed the 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject and received at least 50% in aggregate are also eligible to take the exam.
