Eligibilty Criteria

NHM CHO Educational Qualifications 2022

The educational qualification for appearing for the Community Health Officer examination is tabulated below:

  • The candidates applying for the CHO examination should have completed B.Sc. (Nursing), post-basic B.Sc. (Nursing). Or The candidate must have completed BAMS from a recognized Institute.

NHM CHO Overall Eligibility Criteria 2022

The eligibility criteria decided by National Health Mission (NHM) for the Community Health Officer are given below in the table which is based on the previous year's advertisement as eligibility criteria for 2022 have not been released yet.

Particulars Details
Age Limit 21 to 40 Years ( there is a relaxation of five years for the reserved category candidates SC, ST, EWS, Physically Handicapped, and domicile women candidates from the related state).
Nationality Indian
Domicile The candidate must be a domiciled resident of a particular state from where they are applying for the examination.
Number of Attempts The candidate can attempt the examination, till reaches the maximum age limit.
