NHPC stands for National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Limited, releases notification for NHPC Recruitment. NHPC recruits the candidates through examination for various posts under NHPC such as Junior Engineer, Trainee Engineer, Trainee Officer, Consultant, Mechanic, Apprenticeship, Graduate Apprentice, Senior Medical Officer, etc.
NHPC releases notification that incorporates information regarding the vacancies available for a particular post on its official site.
Step 1: The applicant must visit the official website
Step 2: Applicants must look for the “new registration” tab for applying.
Step 3: Click on the New Registration tab and fill in the details such as Name, Father’s Name, Address, Date of Birth, Email, Mobile number, etc.
Step 4: Verify and submit the details.
Step 5:Note down the Registration ID and password for future references.
Step 6: Now log in using the same Registration ID and password provided to an applicant.
Step 7: Fill in the required details like educational qualification, name of the school or university, exam preference center, etc.
Step 8: Upload your photo and signature as prescribed by the NHPC.
Step 9: Now take a look at the preview of the application form and ensure that all the details filled by you are correct(make changes if required).
There are different educational qualifications required for various NHPC posts. A candidate can obtain information about the educational qualification through the table shown below.

There is a certain minimum and maximum age limit for a particular exam. There is also some relaxation provided about the age by NHPC for SC, ST, and OBC Candidates. The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC as well as ST candidates, 3years for OBC Candidates. The information on the maximum and minimum age is listed below.

This examination will have three parts contains Part-I (which contains 140 MCQ of the concerned discipline), Part-II (which has 30 MCQ on General Awareness), and Part-III of 30 MCQ on Reasoning. There will be negative marking and 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer while 1 mark will be awarded for every correct answer.
