Eligibilty Criteria

NICL Eligibility: Nationality

The candidate must be a

  • A citizen of India, OR
  • A subject of Nepal or Bhutan, OR
  • A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before January 01, 1962, to settle here permanently, OR
  • A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Vietnam to settle here permanently.

NICL Eligibility: Age Limit

The age limit for various posts under NICL Recruitment 2022 varies. Candidates from the SC, OBC, ST, PwD and Ex-servicemen categories will have their maximum age restriction relaxed. The age criteria for NICL Recruitment 2022 is tabulated below:

  • Maximum Age: 30 years
  • OBC: 3 years of relaxation

NICL Eligibility: Educational Qualification

NICL AO (Administrative Officer)
  • Graduate/Post-graduate in any discipline from a recognized university
  • Minimum 60% marks in the qualifying exam
NICL AA (Actuarial Apprentice)
  • Graduate from a recognized university
  • Minimum 60% in Graduation
NICL Actuary
  • A fellow member in accordance with Actuaries Act, 2006
  • Cleared specialization subject in insurance
  • Satisfy all requirements as per IRDAI Regulations
NICL Agriculture Apprentice
  • Graduate in Agriculture Science/Agriculture Engineering/Forestry/Horticulture/ or equivalent from a recognized university
  • Minimum 60% in Graduation
Exam Pattern

The NICL Exam Pattern includes the following stages:

  1. Prelims
  2. Mains
  3. Interview
  4. Medical Examination

The candidates have to clear every stage in order to be recruited under the NICL Recruitment 2022. The candidates need to clear the Prelims first, and candidates will not be allowed to attempt the next stage without clearing the previous stage.

NICL Prelims Exam Pattern 2022

The NICL Prelims exam is a qualifying paper and is the first stage of the NICL Recruitment. The NICL Prelims Exam Pattern is as follows:
