The eligibility requirements for NPSC Recruitment 2022 are detailed below.

NPSC Eligibility 2022: Nationality

To apply for the NPSC Recruitment 2022, the candidate must be an Indian citizen.

NPSC Eligibility 2022: Age Criteria

  • Minimum Age: 21 Years
  • Maximum Age: 30 Years

The Nagaland Public Service Commission has granted age relaxation to candidates from various categories for the NPSC CTS recruitment 2022.

NPSC Eligibility 2022: Educational Qualifications

  • The candidate must have earned a bachelor's degree from a recognized Indian university or an equivalent certification.
  • If a candidate has an equivalent degree or a three-year qualification that is equivalent to graduation, he or she is also eligible to apply.
Exam Pattern

The Nagaland Public Service Commission test will be held in three stages:

  • Prelims exam
  • Mains Exam
  • Personality Test/Interview

NPSC Prelims Exam Pattern 2022

The preliminary examination for the NPSC CSE will consist of one objective type paper (MCQ with OMR Answer Sheet) with a maximum of 200 marks to be attempted in three hours. This examination will simply serve as a screening tool, and the results of the preliminary examination will not be used to determine their final ranking.

NPSC Mains Exam Pattern 2022

There are three papers in the NPSC Mains exam:

  • General English
  • General Studies 1
  • General Studies 2

The objective-type paper for General Studies 1 will be objective, whereas the descriptive-type papers for General English and General Studies 2 will be descriptive. Only the objective type paper, i.e. the second paper, is subject to negative marking. One-third of a mark will be deducted for each wrong response.

NPSC Interview/ Personality Test 2022

  • Candidates who pass the NPSC Mains test will be invited to participate in a Personality Test or Interview.
  • In the interview process, candidates are chosen based on their interpersonal skills, personality, perseverance, and aptitude for the job.

NPSC Syllabus 2022: Mains

The following is the NPSC 2022 Mains test curriculum for the three papers:

General English: The applicant will have to attempt two topics/questions as per their convenience either in the political, social, or economic fields or current affairs.

General Studies 1: Indian History, Statistical Data, and all other state-related organizations including History, Geography, Cultural and Industrial features.

General Studies 2: Indian Rules, Constitution and Administration, Politics and Laws, Regulations, Economic Structure, Functioning of India, Economic Policies and Commercial Growth and Formation of Nagaland.
