    There will be 0.25 marks of negative marking for every wrong answer attempted in the examination. Each question will carry a 1 mark. For every right answer given by the candidates, they will be awarded 1 mark and there is a provision for the deduction of marks for every wrong answer.
Eligibilty Criteria

Odisha Police Recruitment Board (OPRB) has previously released the eligibility parameters for the aspiring candidates who are going to fill out the form of the Odisha Police SI Recruitment 2022 must fulfill the eligibility criteria given below.

In case of any discrepancies found by the commission, candidates give the exam. Also if the candidates are not able to fulfill the necessary eligibility criteria required, their application forms will be rejected and they will not be allowed to sit in the Written Examination.

Odisha Police SI Age Limit

The minimum age limit of the candidates for the Odisha Police SI recruitment 2022 will be 20 years and the maximum age limit for candidates will be 25 years for both male and female candidates.

This year's official notification regarding the Odisha Police SI recruitment has not been released by the Odisha Police Recruitment Board (OPRB) yet, therefore, conditions of age relaxation given to the candidates are not known. The age relaxation of the candidates given to the previous year is given below:

Departmental candidates who have rendered 3 years of continuous service belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) 10 years
Departmental candidates who have rendered 3 years of continuous service belonging to Scheduled Tribe (ST) 10 years

Exam Pattern

The written examination of Odisha Police SI recruitment will consist of two papers to be conducted in offline mode. The first paper and the second paper will be a Written examination consisting of Multiple Choice Questions format.

  • The exam will be of 100 marks
  • The first paper is divided into two sections: General English and Odia Language.
  • The duration of the exam will be one and a half hours ( 90 minutes)
