PESSAT 2025 Application Form released on November 2025 on the official website for B.Tech, BBA, B.Arch, B.Des, B.Com, BBA, LLB, B.Pharm, Pharm.D, MBA, MCA, M.com courses. Candidates can register online by filling the basic information, paying the registration fee of INR 1050 (INR 550 for HN campus courses). Post fee payment candidates can begin with their application filling process.
PESSAT is a university-level exam that is conducted by PES University, Bangalore every year for admission to UG and PG programs. The last date for PESSAT registration for candidates outside Bangalore is May , 2025 (tentative). PES University decides the exam pattern and syllabus of the exam. The exam duration was 3 hours (180 minutes) comprising of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English papers.
The syllabus for PESSAT 2025 BTech section 1 consists of 30% of the questions will be from the Class XI CBSE syllabus. And 70 % of the questions will be from the Class XII CBSE syllabus. Section 2 tests the aptitude of candidates in English grammar. This section contains 20 questions.
- PESSAT Syllabus for BDes is based on a paper-based test. Candidates are required to bring pens, sketching pencils, an eraser, and a portfolio of any creative works done with them.
- PESSAT Syllabus for BPharm/Pharm D’s section 1 tests the Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology skills of the candidate. English Comprehension is tested in Section 2.
Registration
Candidates can fill PESSAT 2025 application form only through the online mode. The application forms are available. Candidates must be careful while filling the application form as the form will be rejected by the university if there is any mistake.
The steps to fill and submit PESSAT 2025 application form are as follows:
- Visit the official website of PES University, www.pes.edu
- Go to the “New Registration” page.
- Select your course. Enter your name, gender, date of birth, and email ID.
- Click on the “proceed” button.
- Enter all the details that are asked.
- Your registration number will be generated.
- Upload your passport size photograph.
- Select the mode of payment and pay the application fee.
The application fee for PESSAT 2025 is INR 1050. Candidates can make the payment through online mode (net banking/credit card/debit card) or offline mode (demand draft/Challan). The demand draft should be made in favor of the “PES University General Fund” that will be payable in Bangalore. Candidates who decide to make the payment through Challan or Demand Draft need to submit the Challan or Demand Draft at the following address along with the printed application form:
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates interested in appearing for PESSAT 2025 must ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions. The eligibility criteria are different for different courses. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria carefully before proceeding to fill the application form.
Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for PESSAT 2025. The eligibility criteria for the various courses offered by PES University are as follows:
B.Tech Course
- Candidates must have completed their 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination with Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.
- Candidates must have scored a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination.
M.Tech Course
- Candidates must have completed B.Tech/BE from a recognized university in a relevant branch.
BBA Course
- Candidates must have completed their 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
MBA Course
- Candidates must have completed their Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in any discipline.
- Appearing candidates are also eligible to apply.
MCA Course
- Candidates must have completed their Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in any discipline.
- Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination with Computer Science or Mathematics or Computer Programming or Business Mathematics or Business Statistics or Statistics as one of the elective subjects.
- Candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination.
B.Arch and BBA LLB Courses
- Candidates must have passed the NATA examination for getting admission into the B.Arch program.
- Candidates must have passed the CLAT examination for getting admission into the BBA LLB program.
- Candidates need to upload their NATA or CLAT scorecard while filling PESSAT 2025 application form.
If candidates do not satisfy the eligibility conditions for the respective course, they cannot apply for PESSAT 2025.

Exam Pattern

Counselling
Candidates who are shortlisted will be called for PESSAT 2025 counselling. There are two rounds in PESSAT counselling. Candidates must submit the counselling fee of 500 INR. Candidates have to bring their original documents during the time of counselling. The documents that are required during counselling are as follows:

- Mark Sheet of 10+2 examination
- Mark sheet of graduation (if applicable)
- Birth Certificate
- Transfer Certificate

- Two demand drafts of 2, 80,000 INR and 5000 INR in favor of “PES University General Fund” that is payable at Bangalore.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their PESSAT 2025 score and personal interview. A short interview will be organized by PES University on the same day of the written examination at the examination center. 60% of seats are reserved for PESSAT candidates for the B.Tech program. The remaining 40% of seats are filled through KCET examination. PES University will give priority to candidates who have qualified PESSAT 2025 examination.
Syllabus
The syllabus of PESSAT 2025 is different for different courses. Candidates must know the syllabus of the entrance examination so that they can score well. For B.Tech, the syllabus of PESSAT 2025 will be of the 11th and 12th levels. Candidates need to study the topics of Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics of 11th and 12th. Candidates should study from their 11th and 12th textbooks for scoring well in the examination.
For other courses, questions will be asked from Verbal Ability/English Comprehension, Analytical & Logical Reasoning, General Awareness, and Quantitative Reasoning. Candidates can also solve previous year’s question papers to score well in PESSAT 2025 examination.
