PESSAT 2022 Application Form released on November 1, 2022 on the official website for B.Tech, BBA, B.Arch, B.Des, B.Com, BBA, LLB, B.Pharm, Pharm.D, MBA, MCA, M.com courses. Candidates can register online by filling the basic information, paying the registration fee of INR 1050 (INR 550 for HN campus courses). Post fee payment candidates can begin with their application filling process.
PESSAT is a university-level exam that is conducted by PES University, Bangalore every year for admission to UG and PG programs. The last date for PESSAT registration for candidates outside Bangalore is May 24, 2022 (tentative). PES University decides the exam pattern and syllabus of the exam. The exam duration was 3 hours (180 minutes) comprising of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English papers.
The syllabus for PESSAT 2021 BTech section 1 consists of 30% of the questions will be from the Class XI CBSE syllabus. And 70 % of the questions will be from the Class XII CBSE syllabus. Section 2 tests the aptitude of candidates in English grammar. This section contains 20 questions.
Candidates can fill PESSAT 2022 application form only through the online mode. The application forms are available. Candidates must be careful while filling the application form as the form will be rejected by the university if there is any mistake.

The application fee for PESSAT 2022 is INR 1050. Candidates can make the payment through online mode (net banking/credit card/debit card) or offline mode (demand draft/Challan). The demand draft should be made in favor of the “PES University General Fund” that will be payable in Bangalore. Candidates who decide to make the payment through Challan or Demand Draft need to submit the Challan or Demand Draft at the following address along with the printed application form:

Candidates who are shortlisted will be called for PESSAT 2022 counselling. There are two rounds in PESSAT counselling. Candidates must submit the counselling fee of 500 INR. Candidates have to bring their original documents during the time of counselling. The documents that are required during counselling are as follows:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their PESSAT 2022 score and personal interview. A short interview will be organized by PES University on the same day of the written examination at the examination center. 60% of seats are reserved for PESSAT candidates for the B.Tech program. The remaining 40% of seats are filled through KCET examination. PES University will give priority to candidates who have qualified PESSAT 2022 examination.
The syllabus of PESSAT 2022 is different for different courses. Candidates must know the syllabus of the entrance examination so that they can score well. For B.Tech, the syllabus of PESSAT 2021 will be of the 11th and 12th levels. Candidates need to study the topics of Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics of 11th and 12th. Candidates should study from their 11th and 12th textbooks for scoring well in the examination.
For other courses, questions will be asked from Verbal Ability/English Comprehension, Analytical & Logical Reasoning, General Awareness, and Quantitative Reasoning. Candidates can also solve previous year’s question papers to score well in PESSAT 2021 examination.
