Eligibilty Criteria

Punjab Patwari: Age Limit

The minimum and maximum age limit for appearing in the Punjab Patwari exam is 18 - 37 years. The category-wise age relaxation is shown in the below table:

Punjab Government/Other State Government/ the Government of India employee 45 years(Upper Age)
Women whose husbands have been ordered by Civil or Criminal courts to pay maintenance to them 40 years(Upper Age)

Punjab Patwari: Education Qualification

  • Candidates should need to hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from any Govt recognized university.
  • Candidates should have completed the 120 Hours’ Course with working experience in the use of Personal Computer or Information Technology in Office Productivity Applications or Desktop Publishing Applications from a recognized institution.


  • Candidates should have a certificate of ‘O’ Level from the Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Course.
Exam Pattern

The Punjab Patwari exam will be conducted by Punjab Subordinate Service Selection Board(PSSSB). The Punjabi Patwari exam will be objective-type questions with MCQ-type answers using OMR sheets. The question paper will contain 120 questions and the duration of time is 2 hours. Also, there will be negative marking in the Punjab Patwari Exam in which out of 1 mark ¼ mark would be deducted for each wrong answer.
