Punjab Police Age Limit

The age limit will be calculated as of January 1st, 2022. The age relaxations will apply to reserved category aspirants of Punjab.

Punjab Police Educational Qualifications

Candidates who wish to join Punjab Police Department after passing the Punjab Police 2022 Examination should have the following educational qualifications.

  • Candidates must have a 10+2 certificate or its equivalent from a recognized university or board.
  • Candidates must have completed Punjabi at the Matric level or its equivalent.
Sub Inspector
  • A graduation/degree bachelor's in any discipline is the minimum qualification requirement.
  • Candidates must have completed Punjabi at the Matric level or its equivalent.
Warder
  • Candidates must possess a 10+2 (Senior Secondary) diploma or its equivalent from a recognized educational board/university.
  • Candidates must have passed the Matriculation Examination with Punjabi as one of the subjects, or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi.

Exam Pattern

The Punjab Police Recruitment selection process will be carried out in two stages: Written Test (Test-1 & Test-2) and Physical Screening Test(PST). The specifics for each level are outlined below.

Punjab Police Written Exam

As stated in the previous official notification, the detailed exam pattern and syllabus may be found below.

  • The computer-based test will be in English or Punjabi.
  • In the exam, there will be 100 multiple choice questions with one mark for each correct answer.
  • The Punjab Police Written Exam will take two hours to complete.
  • Any question that is incorrect or unanswered will receive a 0.25 point penalty.

Punjab Police Physical Screening Test

Punjab Police PST for Males Candidates

Male candidates who apply for the Constable post will be subjected to a Physical Screening Test that will look at the following factors. In neither case will a candidate be given a second chance or leniency in their score.
