Every year, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) releases an official notification regarding the recruitment for the post of RBI Security Guard. RBI releases a number of vacancies for the post of Security Guard who will be posted at various RBI offices all over the country.

Registration
The steps to be followed while applying are as follows:
- Visit the Reserve Bank of India- Opportunities official website.
- Click on the link for the notification.
- Fill in all the details in the application form. Click on ‘save’ and go to ‘next’.
- Upload scanned photographs and signatures according to the size specifications given.
- Click on submit.
- Pay the application fee in the payment gateway that pops up.
- Take a printout of the submitted application fee.
Eligibility Criteria
RBI Security Guard Eligibility: Nationality
- The candidate must be a citizen of India to apply for the post.
- The candidate should be a resident of the State/UT of the Recruitment zone to which he/she is applying to.
RBI Security Guard Eligibility: Age Limit and Relaxation
The Reserve Bank of India has set a particular age limit to be eligible for the RBI Security Guard Posts. The minimum age limit is 25 years for all categories and the upper limit age for the candidates is 45 years. However, candidates from reserved categories are offered age relaxation in the lower age limit.
RBI Security Guard Age Relaxation
The minimum age limit of candidates falling under the different reserved categories are provided age relaxation. However, the maximum age limit is 45 years for all categories. Tabulated below is the age relaxation in the minimum age limit offered to candidates from reserved categories:

The aspirants who have work experience with proper military candidates are only eligible. The candidates must have the proper experience of handling arms and ammunition in the military.
RBI Security Guard Eligibility: Educational Qualification
The educational qualification for RBI Security Guard candidates is as follows:
- The candidates must be Class 10th/ SSC/ Matriculation passed from a recognized state board or equivalent.
- Candidates who possess graduate or any other degree or higher qualification are not eligible to apply.
- Ex-servicemen who have passed the Matriculation from outside the recruitment zone either before or after leaving the military service are eligible to apply for the post.
