Eligibilty Criteria

Before applying, candidates must meet the nationality and educational requirements. The maximum age limit for general candidates is 33 years.

Candidates who are waiting for the final results of their academic qualifications should not apply. RRB Junior Engineering Civil Recruitment Eligibility Criteria may be found here in detail.

RRB JE Civil Education Qualification

For the particular paper, candidates must meet at least one of the educational qualifications listed below.

  • Candidates must have a three-year civil engineering diploma or a four-year civil engineering bachelor's degree.
  • A combination of any substream of basic Civil Engineering courses from a Recognized University/Institute.

RRB JE Civil Age Limit

Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 33 to apply for the exam. The Government of India has decided that candidates in the reserved category will benefit from certain age-related relaxations.

RRB JE Civil Eligibility: Nationality

  • The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
  • A subject of Nepal, Bhutan.
  • A Tibetian refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, to settle permanently in India.
  • Migrated to India permanently from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam.
Exam Pattern

The RRB JE Civil Recruitment Exam 2022 is a two-stage test, with the first being a computer-based test (CBT).

Exam Pattern for Stage I of the Objective Type Exam

  • The maximum mark of an exam is 100.
  • Each question is of one mark, and the time limit is 90 minutes (120 minutes for qualifying PwBD applicants accompanied by a Scribe).
  • Each question is of 1 mark.
  • There is also negative marking. 1/3 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Exam Pattern for the Objective Type Stage- II

  • The maximum mark is 150.
  • Time duration is 120 minutes (160 Minutes for eligible PwBD candidates)
  • Each question carries 1 mark.
  • There is also negative marking. 1/3 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
