SLET is a state-level exam and is conducted by state-controlled bodies. Mostly, every state has its own body that conducts this exam. Candidates who aspire to become Assistant professors or Lecturer in State-owned institutions should take up these exams. These exams are conducted once a year. SLET Exams are conducted in state languages as well.
The Assam SLET exam 2022 took place on March 13, 2022. Assam State Level Eligibility Test (Assam SLET) 2022 notification has been released by the SLET Commission, ASSAM (N.E.Region). The application form was released on November 11, 2021. Since then, applicants were able to download the Assam SLET application form on the Commission's official website.
All applicants should ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria before submitting an application. In order to appear in the SLET exam, candidates must submit the application via online mode. Exams, however, are conducted only offline. You can fill out the application form for the SLET exam by following the steps below.
First, candidates need to register themselves on the official website of the exam. Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Visit the Official SLET Website of each state.
Step 2: Look for the notification displaying new registration. Click on it.
Step 3: Fill in all the necessary details in the registration form like Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Contact number, Email Id, etc.
Step 4: Click on Submit and note down the system-generated registration ID and Password.
Candidates after registering themselves on the official website of the state must start filling out the application form. To do so, candidates should follow these steps:
Step 1: To register, candidates must go to the official website of their respective state's SLET Commission.
Step 2: Candidates should enter their personal information, qualifications, and work experience in the appropriate columns.
Step 3: In the bottom section of the application form, candidates must upload the necessary files such as digital photographs and scanned signatures in the format as prescribed.
Step 4: As soon as you have revised the information, click the Save and Next button.
Step 5: Afterward, candidates need to download a printout of the challan form.
Step 6: Once you enter your application number, you can review the application again.
You can print the application and the challan for payment of the fees by clicking on the Print option.
Step 7: The candidate must submit the challan and fees to the nearest bank as specified on the SLET website.
