TNPSC Junior Draughting Officer 2022: Age Limit

Candidates must know the maximum age at the time of registration should not be more than 30 years. There is no age limit for candidates belonging to SCs, SC (A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCMs, and Destitute Widows of all Castes. However, their age should not be more than 58 years. The age limit for different titles is given below.

Titles Age concession for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCMs and Destitute Widows of all Castes. Age concession for Others [applicants not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, etc.]
For Differently Abled Person Complete age concession 10 years
For Ex-Servicemen Complete age concession The maximum age limit is 48 years.; however, it is not applicable for ex-servicemen already working in the department.

TNPSC Junior Draughting Officer Educational Qualification 2022

TNPSC Junior Draughting Officer 2022: Physical Standards

Aspirants should be mentally and physically fit for becoming a Junior Draughting Officer. If the standard vision and fitness requirements are not met, the candidate will be disqualified from the selection process. Therefore, candidates must get their physical check-ups done before the exam to avoid confusion later on.

Exam Pattern

TNPSC Junior Draughting Officer Recruitment consists of three stages for selection: Paper I, Paper II and document verification. Paper I is a specialized subject-based exam, and Paper II is General Studies. Paper I is in the English language. Only for Civil Diploma, the question paper I will be in English and Tamil. Paper II is in both English and Tamil. Both paper I and paper II will be MCQ-type. The total marks for the entire exam are 500. There is no negative marking in this exam.
