TS PGECET or Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test is a state-level examination for admission in M.Tech, M.Pharam, M.Arch, and various other PG programs at Osmania University.
Latest Notification
TS PGECET 2022- Osmania University on behalf of TSCHE has released TS PGECET 2022 Application Form on the official website. Candidates fulfilling the minimum TS PGECET 2022 Eligibility Criteria i.e. they must have completed his/her bachelor's degree with a 50% aggregate can apply till June 22, 2022, without a late fee. TS PGECET 2022 will be conducted from July 29 to August 1, 2022, in a computer-based test mode.
- As per TS PGECET 2022 Exam pattern, the paper consists of a total of 120 MCQ-type questions, which need to be solved within 2 hours.
- TS PGECET 2022 Syllabus varies as per the different courses. However, the syllabus of Engineering Mathematics is common for all the subjects.
- TS PGECET 2022 Cut off score will be released by Osmania University. The minimum cut-off percentage required to clear TS PGECET 2022 is 25% i.e. 30 marks out of 120.
- TS PGECET Practice Papers will help students understand their preparation level, speed, and time taken to complete questions.
Registration
TS PGECET 2022 Application Form releases on April 12, 2022, on the official website. The registration fees to apply for the exam will be around INR 1000. Students will also have to upload the Scanned Image, Scanned signature as per the guidelines of the authority.
- TS PGECET Application Fee can be paid through online mode only.
- The student can use the Net Banking/ Debit card/ Credit card/ UPI method to pay the application fee.
Eligibility Criteria

| Domicile | Candidates must fulfil local/non-local domicile status requirements. |
| Percentage | The candidate must have secured a minimum of 50%marks (40% marks for the SC/ ST category) in the qualifying exam |

Exam Pattern
- Mode of Examination: TS PGECET 2022 examination will be conducted through the Online mode like a computer-based test
- Duration of Examination: The total duration of the exam will be two hours only.
- Language of Examination: The examination will be conducted in the English language only.
- Question Types: All questions will be objective type i.e. Multiple Choice Questions. For each question, there will be four options, out of which one will be the correct answer.
- Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, +1 Mark will be allotted.
- Total Question: There will be a total of 120 Questions in TS PGECET 2022.
Counselling
TS PGECET 2022 counselling is expected to start in the 3rd week of August 2022. Candidates qualifying for the minimum cut-off are eligible to appear for TS PGECET Counselling.
- Candidates are called as per their ranks in the entrance examination.
- A maximum of three rounds of counselling is conducted.
- The number of sessions depends on the number of candidates applying for the counselling session.
- GATE qualifiers are also offered admissions to the participating colleges.

Syllabus
TS PGECET 2022 syllabus will be released along with the notification of the entrance exam. The syllabus has been framed by TSCHE for all the programs. Most of the topics in the TS PGECET Syllabus are similar to that of the last qualifying examination i.e. graduation. The detailed syllabus for each subject is mentioned below:
Architecture & Planning (AR):
Housing, Landscape design, visual & urban design, building services, computer-aided design, material & structural services, building constructions & management, planning theory, service, amenities, and development, techniques of planning, and planning theory.
Bio-Medical Engineering:
It includes topics such as Electrical Engineering, Biomedical engineering, engineering mathematics, electronic engineering, instrumentation engineering, and electronics.
Bio-Technology (BT):
- Engineering Mathematics: Topics consist of Differential equations, linear algebra, mathematics calculus, numeral methods, and probability & statics.
- Biotechnology: Molecular biology & genetics, microbiology, recombinant DNA technology, biochemistry, plant & animal biotechnology.
Aerospace Technology (AS):
- Engineering Mathematics: Linear Algebra, Numerical methods, calculus, and differential calculus.
- Aerodynamics: Structural dynamic, stress & strain, viscous flows, compressible flows, basic fluid mechanics, Airfoils & wings, wind tunnel testing, propulsion, flight vehicle & structure
- Flights Mechanics: Atmosphere, static stability & dynamics stability, aeroplane performance, and much more.
- Space Dynamics: Central force motion, an orbital period in simple cases & orbit transfer, and determination of trajectory.
Civil Engineering:
- Geotechnical Engineering & Environmental Engineering: Soil Mechanics & Foundation engineering.
- Structural Engineering: Solid Mechanics, concrete structures, steel structures, and structural analysis.
- Engineering Mathematics: Complex variables, numerical method & mechanics, linear algebra, probability & statics, calculus, and differential equations.
- Water Resource Engineering Transportation Engineering: Irrigation, Air pollution, Hydrology, Traffic engineering & surveying, water requirement, noise pollution, highway planning, and hydraulics.
