TSPSC initially decided to hold the Prelims in the month of July/August but due to representations from candidates, Commission has decided to conduct the Group-I Prelims exam on October 16, 2022, at all District Centers. As per the TSPSC notification, the age limit of the candidates for most of the posts is 18 to 44 years. However, as per the government norms, the upper age is relaxed for certain reserved candidates. The age relaxation details of certain categories are as follows :

Candidates are required to pay an examination fee of Rs 120 and an application processing fee of Rs 250 in order to apply for the TSPSC Group I examination. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC categories are exempted from fee payment.
TSPSC Group I Exam 2022 is divided into 3 rounds or stages. First-round is Prelims. It has only one paper carrying 150 questions objective type. The second round Mains is a descriptive paper. Having knowledge is one thing and putting it down on paper is another. Hence, candidates should do enough answer writing practice of the topics mentioned below as per the requirements of different papers.
