  • ‘O' Level Certificate in Computers from the Department of Electronics & Accreditation of Computer Clauses of NIELIT (National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology)

  • Should have obtained a ‘B Certificate' from The National Cadet Corps.
Exam Pattern

The UP Police Fireman exam is conducted in five stages- Written-test, Physical Measurement Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Document Verification, and Medical Test. Aspirants should have proper knowledge of Exam Patterns to prepare efficiently for the exam. Each of the stages is explained in-depth below:

UP Police Fireman Exam Pattern: Stage 1- The Written Test

The written test will be an objective-type question paper for the post of UP Police Fireman. It will be a 300 marks paper that will be conducted offline. There are no minimum qualifying marks fixed by the Government yet.

UP Police Fireman Exam Pattern: Stage 2- The Physical Measurement

After clearing the written test the candidates will be shortlisted for the second stage: The physical Measurement Test. In this test, the candidates should meet the required measurement criteria to proceed further in the recruitment process. The details of the same is given below:

UP Police Fireman Exam Pattern: Stage 3- The Physical Efficiency Test

The third stage is The Physical Efficiency Test. It is for checking the physical ability of the candidates. It is done via a running race. Candidates should make running a daily habit & exercise daily to qualify for the test.

The Male candidates should complete the running for 4.8 km in less than 27 minutes & the female candidates should complete the running for 2.4 km in less than 16 minutes.

UP Police Fireman Exam Pattern: Stage 4- The Document Verification

All the candidates should have the document that is required for the Recruitment of UP Police Fireman post. If any information in the document is found wrong or misleading then the candidate will be rejected.

UP Police Fireman Exam Pattern: Stage 5- The Medical Test

The last & final stage is the medical test. All the selected candidates should be fit medically, it will be checked by the medical council after the medical examination test.
