Eligibilty Criteria

The candidates who wish to pursue a career in the UP Police Department must apply for the UP Police Recruitment 2022. The candidates must check the eligibility criteria for various posts and designations before applying for the same.

The candidate must be a citizen of India to apply for the same. The UP Police Eligibility Criteria are discussed below in detail:

Sub Inspector 18-28 Years Candidates must have a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized board/university.
Constable (Horse Rider) Male - 18-22 Years Female - 18-25 Years Candidates must have passed Class 10th & 12th or equivalent from a recognized board/institution.
Jail Warder Male - 18-22 Years Female - 18-25 Years Candidates must have passed the 10+2 level of education from a recognized board.
Fireman Male - 18-22 Years Female - 18-25 Years Candidates must have passed the 10+2 level of education from a recognized board.
Driver 18-25 Years Must have passed Class 10th from a recognized institution.
Ministerial Staff 21-28 years Candidates must have passed the 10+2 level of education from a recognized board.
Exam Pattern

The UP Police Exam Pattern provides an understanding of the categories or subjects the exam will have. The UP police exam will be conducted at various shifts. Students who get 50% overall marks will qualify for the next round.

  • The test will be conducted in Hindi and English apart from General Hindi
  • The UP Police recruitment exam will be an online test that will have multiple choice questions or MCQs.
  • The duration of the test will be 120 Minutes (2 Hours).
  • The UP SI Online Exam will have a total of 400 marks with 160 questions in total and the UP Constable Online Exam will have a total of 300 marks.
  • There will be no Negative Marking in the UP Police exam.
