CAPF AC Exam is held for recruitment in Police Forces such as Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), National Security Guard (NSG), and Assam Rifles(AR).
CAPF AC 2022 Written Test is scheduled for August 07, 2022.
Steps to apply:
Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC.
Step 2: Click on the recruitment button for “CAPF AC 2022.”
Step 3: Fill in the “ONLINE RECRUITMENT APPLICATION (ORA).”
Step 4: Enter all the details asked in the ORA, such as name, parent’s name, date of birth, correspondence address, academic qualifications, email address, and mobile number.
Step 5: Provide correct and functional email addresses as all correspondence will be made by UPSC through email only.

There are certain educational qualifications that the applicants must possess to be eligible for CAPF. Those who do not meet the criteria are advised to refrain from applying.
As of August 1, 2022, the applicant must be older than 20 years and younger than 25 years, in order to fulfill the CAPF Assistant Commandant Eligibility criteria. It must be noted that the upper age limit can be relaxed for certain candidates, depending on the category they belong to. The details are summarised below in the table.

It must be noted that if an applicant has undergone LASIK surgery correction, then it must have been according to the prescribed criteria as mentioned below:
NOTE: Candidate must have completed 06 months after LASIK surgery while considering for recruitment in CAPFs.
The Carrying angle should not be more than 15˚ for male applicants and 20˚ for female applicants.
Another desirable qualification is the possession of an NCC ‘B’ or ‘C’ Certificate. However, it must be noted that these qualifications will be considered at the time of the Interview or Personality Test only. They will have no effect at the time of application.

After the CAPF result, 2022 is released, the candidates who clear the first round will be eligible for Stage 2 of the CAPF AC exam which will be the physical Endurance and Medical Test.
This will be followed by the third round, which will be an interview and personality test. The final selection of candidates will be made on the basis of the overall performance in all three rounds.
