About
VELS Entrance Examination (VEE) is a qualifying entrance exam for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered by VELS University Chennai. The exam is conducted by VELS University Chennai. VEE 2025 will be held on May 2025(tentatively) in offline mode. Those candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can appear for the exam.
Registration
Application Form for VEE 2025 will be released in December 2025. VEE 2025 Application Form can be obtained via both Online and Offline.
Steps for online submission of VEE 2025 exam application form are as follows:
- Visit official website i.e. www.velsuniv.ac.in
- Go to Admission and Click on Apply Now.
- Fill Information asked in the application form:

- Select Exam Center (3 centers can be opted)
- Select the Course applying for
- Upload scanned images of Self Photograph, Signature (Self and Parent / Guardian)
- Submit and take a review
- Proceed to payment section
- Make payment with Net Banking or Debit Card or Credit Card.
Offline Mode:
- Application can be bought by paying prescribed amount for application form from office of VELS University.
- Application from for VEE 2025 can also be received by post. Applicant can send a DD for application fee of VEE 2025 as per programme applying for, to the postal address of VELS University.
- Fill it completely in the same way mentioned above in online application form
- Attach photocopies of all academic records as is required and 3 passport size self-photographs with 2 self-addressed stamped envelops.
- Get a DD of prescribed fee for VEE 2025 from any bank in the name of “Vels University”, payable at Chennai.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for VEE 2025 is based on academic qualification, minimum secured marks in qualifying exam as is given below herewith:

Exam Pattern
- VEE 2025 entrance exam is an offline pen paper based test.
- Duration of 90 minutes for attempting 100 objective type questions is allotted.
- VEE 2025 exam is of 100 marks; each question carries 1 mark.
Counselling
- Counselling process starts with the declaration of Result for VEE 2025.
- It continues for entire one week after declaration of result from 10 AM to 5 PM every day.
- Candidate must carry below-mentioned documents during counselling process:
- All-Academic Records in original from Class 10th to Graduation like Certificate / Degree / Mark Sheet (as applicable according to the course and eligibility)
- Photo ID Proof showing Candidate’s Photo, Address, Date of Birth and Father’s or Mother’s Name or both
- 2 Self Photographs
- 2 photocopies set of all documents mentioned above, photocopies should be self-attested
- Migration Certificate
- Category Certificate
- Fee of 1st semester. Fee can be paid either in cash or by DD. DD should be generated in favour of “VELS UNIVERSITY” Payable at “CHENNAI”.
Syllabus
- Syllabus for VEE 2025 is varies for all the programmes offered by the University.
- As per the requirement of the course, standard of the questions and type of the subject or topics are different.
