  • Minimum Age Limit: 18 years
  • Maximum Age Limit: 27 years

WB Excise Constable Educational Qualification

The candidates must have Bengali/Nepali in their Madhaymik pass certificate from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent. They must have the language as a subject of or above the level of Madhyamik.

Exam Pattern

The WB Excise Constable Recruitment Exam is divided into two stages. The details of both stages is listed in detail below.

WB Excise Constable Recruitment Preliminary Exam Pattern

A total of 100 questions will be asked in the preliminary exam and the total marks will be 100. Each incorrect answer will lead to the deduction of 1/4th marks. The duration of the exam will be one hour.

WB Excise Constable Recruitment Final Written Exam Pattern

After a candidate qualifies for the PMT/PET, the third and final stage will be a written test. Candidates who will appear for this exam will edge closer to recruitment. The duration of the exam is 1 hour and 30 minutes and the total number of questions will be 90. 1/4th of the marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. The details are:
