Eligibilty Criteria

WB SET Eligibility Age Limits

The candidate applying for the WB SET Exam 2022 must fulfill the age criteria as per the official notification. There are no specific age limit criteria for the applications of WB SET exam.

WB SET Educational Qualifications

The WB SET examination has been conducted for the various posts of Assistant Professor in West Bengal. Below we have given the eligibility criteria of all the levels of job positions.

  • Candidates must have completed their Masters's Degree or any equivalent exam with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university.
  • Reserved Categories (SC/ST/PWD) should have a minimum of 50% marks in their Master's Degree
Exam Pattern

The WB SET examination is conducted as a written examination for assistant professor posts. Candidates after qualifying in the examination will be called for a document verification round. Below we have given about the process of the exam.

WB SET Written Exam Pattern

The exam is conducted online and it will be based on multiple objective type questions. The total duration of the exam is three hours and the paper is available in both English and Bengali language. For each correct answer, two marks are awarded and no negative marks will be deducted for incorrect answers.
