Eligibilty Criteria

WBMSC Educational Qualification

For the post of WBMSC Recruitment Headmaster and Headmistress, post candidates must have a bachelor's degree qualification from a recognized board, university or Institution in India.

  • The candidates should possess a post-graduate degree with a minimum of 45% marks in High Secondary Madrasah from any university of India affiliated with the University Grants Commission (UGC).
  • At the Honours and post-graduates level, there should be 40% and 45% aggregate marks respectively should be secured by the candidates
  • The applying candidates should have completed Bachelors in Education (B.Ed.) or Post-graduate basic training (PGBT) or Bachelors in Training from a recognized institute of the West Bengal Government.
  • The candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Private schools or Madrasahs recognized by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education or West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education.

Candidates can also add additional degrees if they possess any.

For the post of Superintendent, candidates must have completed the course of Master of Management from West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education and should have a Master’s Degree from UGC affiliated college or university.

  • The candidates must have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Alim or High Madrasah or Fazil or equivalent examinations held.
  • They must have at least 40% marks in the Master of Management course.
  • They should have scored at least 40% marks at the Post-graduate level and must have a bachelor’s degree of training and education or post-graduate degree in basic training from a recognized university or board of India.

Note: Candidates applying for all the above posts must know the English and Bengali languages

WBMSC Age Limit

The minimum age limit of the candidates in the WBMSC Recruitment 2022 for the post of Headmaster, Headmistress and Superintendent will be 18 years and the maximum age limit for candidates will be 27 years for both males and female candidates.

The official notification regarding the age limits of WBMSC Recruitment 2022 has not been announced yet, therefore, the age limits of the other post are not known

The age limit according to the post is discussed below in a tabulated form, candidates are advised to refer to the table for the complete information:

Exam Pattern

The exam pattern of WBMSC Recruitment 2022 in West Bengal Madrasah Service Commission is different for the different posts.

For the post of Headmaster, Headmistress and Superintendent the exam will be conducted in two stages Paper -1 and Paper -2:

West Bengal Madrasah Service Commission Paper -1

  • The paper is divided into three parts, Parts A, B and C.
  • Part A will be subjective, candidates have to answer the short question in English that will contain a total of 14 marks
  • Part B will be subjective, candidates have to answer the short question in English or Bengali Language that will contain a total of 14 marks
  • Part c will be subjective, candidates have to answer the short question in English that will contain a total of 14 marks

West Bengal Madrasah Service Commission Paper - 2

The paper will contain 26 Multiple Choice Questions for a total of 13 marks.

There will be 0.5 marks awarded for every correct answer

Note:

  • Candidates called for the Personality Test or Interview will be three times of vacancy
  • Candidates have to get at least 35% marks to qualify for the Interview
