Information on UPSEE BHMCT after 12th

UPSEE BHMCT is also overly known as Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination for Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology- (BHMCT). This exam is conducted by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. This exam is under the observation of as Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination. Multiple undergraduate programs as well as integrated programs are conducted under Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination- (UPSEE) and under this, the Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology- (BHMCT) is also conducted. This is a state-level entrance examination as established before, the exam takes place in Uttar Pradesh. So, students should apply for this course if they want to apply for the Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology- (BHMCT) degree.

Changes due to pandemic

There have been numerous amounts of changes made because of the pandemic issue. Exams have been pushed and delayed to no bounds. The delay in their Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination- (UPSEE) for Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology- (BHMCT) had affected the students who had already registered and were just left to give their exams, they had this obstruction ruin their plans for their exams due to the pandemic, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has decided that students will still be giving their exam just the difference will be that they will be giving an online exam as usual. So, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has also declared new examination dates for the same, the exam will furthermore be held on 20th September 2020, and students will be able to receive their application or registration forms by 2oth January. These were some minor or major changes made by the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) examination board.

Eligibility

Students who want to earn a Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology- (BHMCT) degree. Students need to be 10th and 12th pass with minimum 45% and for students in other categories like- (OBC, SC, ST) should pass with minimum 40% marks from any recognized board or university or colleges. There’s no age restriction for the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination- (UPSEE) for Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology- (BHMCT) exam. All Indian students are allowed to be present for this exam, abroad students are also given a chance to participate in this exam, alongside Kashmiri migrant students are also eligible to apply for their Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination- (UPSEE) exam. Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination- (UPSEE) exam is only conducted once a year so, if a student misses, they will have to wait for another year before they can give it again.  The exam consists of Multiple- Choice Questions- (MCQ) only, and there are about 100 questions asked. The exam goes on for about 2 hours, and the exam is about 400 marks. As it says that the exam is of 400 marks and as you calculate, you will figure out how each answer is awarded 4 marks. The question paper is always in Hindi and in English only and in no other languages. There are no negative markings in this exam. This exam is an OMR based test or a computer-based exam. These are some basic knowledge that students should be made aware of before they are giving their exams.

Information on Registration or Application form

Students should be ready with all of their required documents before they begin with their application process. They should be ready with their 10th and 12th mark sheet or their passing certificate. They should provide their e-mail id, their original phone number and the only payment method which is allowed is the online method. The forms are released by the 20th of January and the last submission date of the form is March 30th and these dates are only so delayed due to the pandemic over Covid-19. Students are expected to upload their photograph and their signature as per the given size. They need to pay their fee for the application and need to print out their receipts. The application form fee for students is INR 1,300 and the students of another category like- (ST, SC) need to pay INR 650.

There are many universities or colleges which provide this entrance exam. In Uttar Pradesh, there are many cities like- In Agra, In Allahabad, In Basti, In Jhansi, In Meerut, In Noida, In Lucknow, In Varanasi and in some cities outside of Uttar Pradesh- In Bhopal, In Jaipur, In Patna, In Ranchi, In Kolkata, In Mumbai, In Chennai and In Bangalore there are still many more centers from which students can select their own preferred centers.
