Training & Internships
The institute has collaborated with Phillip Capital India for joint training and placements of selected students to award them with corporate experience.
At the beginning of the academic session, Phillip Capital India will hire at least 2 candidates as Management Trainees.
Students at BIMM Pune have to take an internship course called Company Project Studies (CPS) for 2 months.
After the internship, depending on their performance, companies may offer a Pre-placement offer to the students.
BIMM placement cell has placed 337 students which is equivalent to 95% of the total students of the final year.

- A small write-up about Prof. M.S. Pillai Memorial Scholarship by our beloved Founder-Chancellor, Professor Dr. (Col.) A Balasubramanian in his golden words. Prof. M.S. Pillai introduced meditation and Vipassana as compulsory subjects for his management students. He also mentored many corporate leaders. He was a good learner and a great teacher devoted to his students. He was a kindhearted but tough disciplinarian — an excellent counsellor. Thousands of students have benefited from his training and guidance. Above all, Prof Pillai was known for his humility and humanity. He was a role model, and as his disciple and chancellor of SBUP, it is my duty to cherish his memory through the Prof M S Pillai Memorial Scholarship.” SELECTION PROCESS FOR PROF.M.S. SELECTION PROCESS

- A committee comprising of University officials headed by the Vice Chancellor will nominate the eligible students for this scholarship. A special preference will be given for Meritorious Economically backward category.

Aiyaswamy culturals
A long-running tradition at Sri Balaji University, the Aiyaswamy Cultural Competition is held every year at the end of the induction period in the spacious Ranganathan Auditorium. The Aiyaswamy Cultural Competition was first introduced in 2015, before which it was known as the fresher’s party. Except for the name, nothing much has changed. It was conducted with the same energy, zeal, fervour, and enthusiasm. The craze and anticipation for the fest amongst the student managers have only increased. Apart from the two days of break from regular classes, the prize money and a trip to Goa add enthusiasm to the students. The winning group is awarded a cash prize of INR 1, 50,000/- and a trip to Goa. This year, River Sabarmati won the Aiyaswamy Cup and the trip to Goa.

A place to relax with dreams to lead: The hostel @ Sri Balaji University, Pune.
The nucleus of the student manager’s life after the classroom is the hostel building at Sri Balaji University, Pune. With ample accommodation and recreational facilities, the hostel building is where the student managers relax, study, and interact with their peers. Student accommodations are arranged as ‘clusters’ with residential spaces for 12 student managers in one cluster. Each floor contains eight clusters with four floors for the student managers in the hostel building. Facilities such as drinking water coolers, lockable steel almirah and in-room furniture are provided for the hostel premises’ student managers.

Hostel For Female
There is a separate hostel facility for girls in the institute. Student supervisors in the hostel have access to basic amenities such as drinking water coolers, lockable steel almirahs, and in-room furniture. However, due to a limited number of seats, allotment is on a first-come, first-served basis. If students are unable to remain at the Sri Balaji Society hostel, then they must rent a room closer to campus.

Sri Balaji University, Pune is inviting applications for admission to its MBA program offered in various areas of specialisations for the academic session 2023-25. Interested candidates can now apply online by submitting their application form by January 18, 2023.
As per Sri Balaji University Pune, the admission window for the MBA program is open for candidates who have completed their bachelor’s degree from any recognized university or educational institution. Applicants need to have at least 50% marks or equivalent grades.After the application process, applicants will be shortlisted for seats based on marks secured in qualifying examinations such as CAT, MAT, XAT, C-MAT or MAH-CET, performance in group discussion round and personal interviews. Dr. (Col.) A. Balasubramanian is the Founder President of Sri Balaji Society, Pune. He is a triple Post Graduate and a rare personality known for his creative approach and making history in the field of education. Born in a poor farmer’s family, he ran away from home to join an orphanage to complete his education till High School. Later he joined the Indian Army and served there for about 28 years and retired as a Subedar. During his service with Army, he acquired three post-graduate degrees with flying colours. He is a classic example of courage, commitment and intimate relationship with the corporate world.
Dr. Balasubramanian is a trainer, a consultant, and the author of five books on management, more than 100 short stories and two novels to his credit. He is the one who conceived the very idea of creating the first Post Graduate Management Institute in India exclusively for the Defence Personnel and their Dependents. He is the first Indian from Armed Forces in the history of India to be conferred the Honorary Rank of Colonel after retirement. Thus, he has many feathers in his cap and is known for his creative, successful and bold experiments in management education ventures.
