JD Institute’s mission is to change how people perceive design and make India one of the Design Hub in the world. The Institute thrives for one goal; to constantly inspire and encourage students to follow the three pillars for which JD stands for: Innovation, Sustainability, and Eco-friendly.

JD Institute offers a plethora of courses in the field of Fashion Design, Interior Design, Jewellery Design, Fashion Communication, Fashion and Lifestyle Entrepreneurship, Fashion Business Management, Visual Merchandising, Fashion Photography, and Hair and Make-up Artistry. With the aid of a vigorous combination of Research, Mentoring, Practical exposure, and Class-room training, the Institute plays a key role in shaping the students to become the industry experts of tomorrow.

Training & Internship

We received a lot of paid and unpaid internship opportunity from JD. Start-up brands and established brands included. The stipends range from 5k- 15k. The internship roles covered all possible job opportunities in the design field, like fashion consultant, design assistant, illustrator, graphic designer, fashion research role, fine arts intern and needlework intern, blogger, social media marketing intern and much more.

Industry Projects

The institution regularly conducts placement workshops to prepare students to face job interviews & aptitude tests. Students are taught skills like resume writing, presentation skills, portfolio making & time management, etc in these workshops so that they become completely industry-ready by the time they complete their course.

We have a record-breaking placement history. We have produced some of the best talents in the industry like Rocky S, Shane Peacock, & Urvashi Kaur, Maheka Mirpuri, to name a few. Our students are placed in some of the top companies which are H&M, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Sabyasachi, Pepperfry etc.

With an average annual salary of 6.25 LPA, JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Delhi concluded its final placements 2019 with over 89% of the batch getting placed successfully. Out of the total batch, 1246 students registered for the final placements and were offered jobs from Interior Design Firms, Retail Companies, Fashion Designers, Export Houses, Jewellery Brands and High-End Boutiques.

Some of the leading brands that showed their participation in the final placements include H&M, Blackberry, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Rina Dhaka, Mandira Wirk, Market Craft and Decode Interiors among various others.

New Delhi: JD Institute of Fashion Design Admission has begun the application process for various UG and PG courses for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal of JD institute offers UG, Diploma, PG Diploma and Certificate Courses in the discipline of Fashion Design, Interior Design, Fashion Management, etc. Candidates seeking admission to the programme can submit their applications till the deadline which is not yet announced by the institute.
