Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, also known as JIIT is a private institute set up by the Jaypee Group of Companies in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. It was established in 2001 as a technical institute later declared as a “Deemed to be University” in 2004 by UGC. JIIT offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as B.tech, M.tech, MBA and PHD. JIIT Campus is spread over 6,50,000 sq. feet area covering Academic Block, Business School cum Research Block, and Hostels. The campus has 6 JIIT hostels, 3 for boys and 3 for girls. JIIT is recognized by University Grant Commission (UGC).

Training & Internships

The Training and Placement Cell located at JIIT Noida, centrally handles campus placement of the graduating students of all our campuses, namely JIIT Noida (U.P.), JUIT Solan (H.P.), JUET Guna (M.P.), JU Anoopshahr (U.P.), and Jaypee Business School, Noida. The Cell provides complete support to the visiting companies at every stage of the placement process. Arrangements for Pre-placement Talks, Written/On-line Tests, Group Discussions, and Interviews are made as per the requirement of the visiting companies. The T&P Cell is headed by Brig (Retd.) Sanjay Dawar, Head Training & Placement and Dean Students’ Welfare, along with Senior Placement Officers, Ms. Anita Marwaha, Mr. Anurag Srivastava and Mr. Vinod Kumar at Sector-62, Noida. A full-time dedicated Training and Placement Officer/Coordinator Mr. Digvijay Chauhan at JUET Guna, Mr. Pankaj Kumar at JUIT Solan, and Mr. Saurabh Misra at JU, Anoopshahr further augment the efforts of T&P. To have a closer linkage and promote research suited to industry needs, and consultancy which creates a sense of owning among faculty members
We have MOU’s with IT companies like Ericsson India Global, GeeksforGeeks, lndiaMARTinterMESH, McKinley & Rice, Phronesis Partners and TUV SUD for imparting knowledge in special domains and niche areas of IT / CSE / ECE
We have campus connect program with IT companies, they do the Train The Trainer program, to bring the faculty of the colleges to a forum along with companies campus connect team to equip them with the course material and deployment model to be put into practice in their respective colleges.
We do soft skills training and personality development program, also in association with the industry, for engineering students in the colleges to enhance their employability and personal development.

Scholarship 1

Students who take admission in the first year of the 4-year UG program with an overall All India Rank of less than 1000 in JEE exam conducted by CBSE, shall be provided free education for the entire duration of under graduate programme.

William Webster Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship

Brief on Scholarship:

Jaiprakash Sewa Sansthan has setup an initial corpus of Rs. 20 Lacs for the William Webster* Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship to be provided to eligible students from the income earned by way of interest from the corpus. The scholarship would be provided to students admitted to the Jaypee Education System across the 3 Campuses from the Academic Year 2004 onwards through a transparent mechanism by as Scholarship Committee set up for the purpose. Selected students will get a tution fee waiver for the year up to a maximum of one semester Tution Fee. All scholarship amounts will be adjusted against the tution fees of the year in which approved.

Eligibility (Fresh Cases):

Combined income of parents/guardian should be less than or equal to Rs. 1.5 Lacs per annum.

Merit is determined on the basis of following weightages of marks obtained in classes 10th, 12th and performance in B.Tech. 1st semester.

Class 10th : 15%
Class 12th : 35%
B.Tech. 1st sem. : 50%

Eligibility (Continuation Cases):

A student shall continue to get the scholarship, in the subsequent years provided he/she fulfils the following criteria:

Minimum CGPA of 7.0 on 10 point scale.
Combined income of parents/guardian should be less than or equal to Rs. 1.5 Lacs per annum.

Library

JIIT's Learning Resource Centre is an excellent repository of learning resources. It can accommodate about 700 users at a time. It is fully integrated with the latest barcode technology and international standard library management software - Liberty. The LRC consists of the latest collection of textbooks as well as reference books (approx. 61500), national as well as international peer-reviewed journals, magazines and electronic resources on subject areas covered by the academic curricula of the Institute and other universal knowledge (approx. 357800).

Hostel

JIIT has a total number of 5 hostels, 2 for boys and 3 for girls. The overall charge of student’s discipline and hostel administration vests in the chief warden. All hostel rooms are provided with LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity with 24 hours internet through the main server of the academic block. The hostel is also connected with outdoor sports centers for lawn tennis, basketball, volleyball, and badminton. Other facilities include are 24 hour’s electricity supply, water heaters, water freezer etc.

For Boys, A well-equipped boys gym with Tread Mills and equipment are available for the students. For Girls, a well-equipped girls gym with Cross Trainer and Tread Mill machine is available for students.

Hostel For Male

Hostel facilities are quite good as compared to any other college hostels. The room is fine for double occupancy, each room contains ac vents and has a common balcony. Each floor has 50 rooms and 16 sets of urinals and bathrooms. Mess food is neither good nor bad, sometimes it's good sometimes not.

Placement

JIIT Noida concluded the placement drive for its 2017-21 batch. The highest salary of INR 43.88 LPA was offered by Adobe. There was an increase of almost 1.64% in the highest salary as compared to previous year.

During JIIT Placements 2021, 1390 placement offers have been made. A total of 839 students were hired by reputed recruiters. The placement percentage stood at 99%. 100% of the IT & CSE students were placed. The placement percentage increased by 3% compared to last year.

The placement drive engaged a total of 160 recruiters. Some of the major recruiters included Adobe System, DE Shaw, Amazon, Cisco, Morgan Stanley, Intuit, Cognizant, TCS Ninja, Wipro.

Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, (JIIT) Noida has begun the application process for the M.Tech, M.Sc, MBA, and BSc for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal
JIIT Noida offers a gamut of UG and PG courses in various specialisations. Candidates seeking admission to the MTech, MSc, MBA, and BSc programmes

As per JIIT Noida, the admission window for BTech program is open for those candidates who have completed their class 12th qualifications from the science stream with math as a compulsory subject and a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized board.

Under the JIIT Noida BTech Admission 2022, the selection of applicants will be done on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying examination; JEE. Those who do not meet the eligibility criteria will not be selected for the admission process.
