Renato Pereira, holding a postdoctoral degree in Management and two doctorates, serves as the Deputy Director for Internationalization and Research at the School of Management of Iscte-IUL.
He specializes in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, International Management, and Economic Development in Sub-Saharan Africa.
As a former resident-student of the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris, he was appointed to the Board of Directors of the private foundation responsible for managing the international campus of the French capital, elected by a representative college of 5,000+ voters from 150+ nationalities.
He has worked in various companies in the information and communication technology cluster, including Outsystems, one of the first three Portuguese unicorns.
As an Administrator at Inteli - Innovation Intelligence - Innovation Center, he was part of the coordination structure of the Mobi.E consortium, responsible for the development of the world's first national network for electric vehicle charging, and the Board of Directors of SGORME - Electric Mobility Network Operations Management Company, S.A.
For thirteen consecutive years, he served as a Member of the Fiscal Council of Taguspark, S.A., the management company of one of the largest and most relevant science and technology parks in the country.
He served as Assistant to the Minister of Public Works, Transport, and Communications of the XVII and XVIII Constitutional Governments.

Ashok is a 30-year industry veteran. In his latest stint he was CEO of NASSCOM Foundation. Previously, he worked with IBM as Geo Expansion Leader & in HP (Hewlett Packard) as a Transformation Leader. He has been involved as a strategic thought leader with various forums from around the world. Ashok currently serves as an advisory board member for start-ups and as guest faculty for prominent Indian universities.
A purpose-driven leader with over 30 years of cross-functional experience in IT, D&I, and social impact. He is currently serving on the advisory boards of start-ups in domains like ESG. diversity and inclusion, disability and Industry 4.0.
Previously, Ashok was the CEO of NASSCOM Foundation where he was able to align, scale, sustain initiatives that propelled the industry in achieving its goals of social transformationand impact through technology. He commenced the ‘Tech For Good” initiative “ to harness the strength of Social Entrepreneurs to achieve impact at scale. In a short span of time, he ensured that NASSCOM FOUNDATION emerged as a convenor and non-profit partner of choice for the technology sector, Government and civic bodies.
Before leading the foundation, Ashok spent over 5 years at NASSCOM, where he donned multiple hats at leadership level. One of Ashok's greatest contributions at NASSCOM was to redefine NASSCOM's Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) portfolio. SMEs constituted 80% of NASSCOM's clientele base, and with Ashok's intervention of facilitating global trade opportunities, they were able to scale newer heights globally.
He also led NASSCOMs strategy for regional member outreach to expand and include businesses in non-Tier I locations by liaising with government authorities for ease of doing business. He initiated disruptive initiatives to strengthen NASSCOMs skilling-reskilling goals and led the industrys vision to build a work environment that embraces equity, equality, and inclusion.
His road map for D&I as a practice and culture for the IT- BPM Industry members has pivoted from being nationally focused to globally collaborated with key stakeholders. He was instrumental in conceptualising the Women Wizards Rule Tech (WWRT) a unique program to re-skill women in emerging technologies. WWRT impacted over 10,000 women from over 100 organisations.
Ashok has collaborated with academia and international institutions to publish several white-papers and case studies on Diversity & Inclusion.

Organizes Hackathon (Codathon) to Celebrate National Technology Day 2025

In celebration of National Technology Day 2025, Sharda University Agra successfully organized an engaging Hackathon (Codathon) under the aegis of the Anand School of Engineering and Technology (ASET), in collaboration with IIC Sharda University Agra. The competitive event, hosted on the globally recognized platform HackerRank, drew participation from over 100 students across B.Tech, BCA, and MCA programs, all eager to showcase their programming skills and problem-solving acumen.
The initiative was held under the visionary leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Jayanthi Ranjan, Honble Vice-Chancellor of Sharda University Agra, whose mission centers on nurturing global leaders through innovation-led education. The Hackathon was further guided by Prof. (Dr.) R.Swaminathan, Dean, ASET, ensuring that the event aligned with both academic standards and evolving industry needs.
Over the course of three hours, participants solved a series of challenges focusing on programming fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms — fostering computational thinking and promoting a deep culture of analytical problem-solving, in true alignment with the spirit of National Technology Day.

Sharda University Agra had the distinct privilege of hosting Prof. (Dr.) Durg Singh Chauhan, former Vice Chancellor of several reputed universities and a former member of the AICTE and UGC.
