About

Vignana Jyothi is a not-for-profit society founded by a group of Industrialists, Academicians, Businessmen, NRIs and Professionals, who are known for achieving commendable results in their respective fields. Vignana Jyothi was registered during the year 1991 under the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh Public Societies Registration Act. The objective was to promote social, cultural, educational, scientific, and research activities among men and women, particularly the youth.

It also aimed to establish, manage, aid, and maintain educational Institutions, imparts education and training at all stages for the promotion of Engineering, Agricultural, Commerce, Arts and Science, Management and other subjects and allied activities for the diffusion of useful knowledge and training, especially to instill confidence, creative thinking and entrepreneurship in students and trainees and to issue Degrees / Diplomas / Certificates to the successful candidates.

Training & Internships

Vishnu Priya began her Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) course at Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management (VJIM), Hyderabad, in hopes of studying marketing & sales in an entrepreneurial context, but it was the summer internship with Mondelez India that truly stimulated her passion for the subject.

When it was time for Priya to find an internship opportunity, she had already decided she wanted to further explore a career in sales. Through a connection and interview process at Mondelez, Priya was introduced to the world of targets and tricks in the modern trade sales category. When Priya took a position as a sales intern and subsequently helped close targets, she knew what she had to do next. After working in a fast-paced setting that grants new challenges each day; ones that start with visiting countless supermarkets and end with meeting merchandisers, Priya thinks she is now equipped with working on high-volume of work and upholding priorities; in fact, she embraces both.

Scholarships

Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management offers financial assistance in the form of scholarships and education loans to students based on their academic performance and financial conditions. VJIM offers scholarships based on the composite score. Students with a composite score of 60% and above are eligible for the VJIM Hyderabad scholarship. In addition, it also offers merit scholarships of up to 50% of the fee in each trimester to the top four deserving students.

Hostel For Male

Living on campus is one of the key contributors to an intensive and effective learning experience. Staying in the hostel helps develop group dynamics among the students and teaches them to adapt to different socio-cultural environments.

VJIM has a well-designed state-of-the-art hostel both for boys and girls within 1 Km radius of the institute. The rooms are well furnished with basic amenities. The facilities provided in the hostel give the students a homely atmosphere that strengthens the sense of belonging. The common living area facilitates team-based work beyond classroom learning fostering camaraderie.

Technology never stops evolving at VJIM ―Being connected and not wired is the new theme. The hostel is wi-fi enabled and provides internet access through a 20 MBPS leased line. The campus-wide network is based on 1000 MBPS Ethernet technology. Students can access the internet from any part of the campus and hostel. Separate recreational facilities are provided to the students like a cricket pitch, badminton court, gym yoga facilities, etc. on the hostel premises. A doctor is available on call, a transport facility is provided to commute to and fro from hostel to campus, and an outing is provided biweekly on weekdays and on every Sunday.
