The BMS College of Engineering is an independent private institution. The college is ranked among the top 100 engineering schools in India by NIRF. 13 UG, 16 PG, and Ph.D. courses in engineering and management are available at BMS College of Engineering. The BTech programme is the institute’s main offering. Candidates for admission must receive a COMEDK UGET score between 195 and 19000.
For applicants using their COMEDK UGET exam results, the annual cost of a 4-year BTech programme is INR 2.29 Lacs. The management quota fees at BMS College of Engineering range from INR 9 to 3 Lacs annually.
A total of 1059 employment offers for undergraduate students and 187 job offers for graduate students have been made for the year 2021. In addition, 591 and 126 internship offers for undergraduate and graduate students, respectively, have been made. At BMSCE, there are a variety of income packages available, with the greatest package being INR 30 LPA and the lowest package being INR 4 LPA.
Research: Through its 18 departments, the college has so far submitted 61 patent applications and published various papers. In addition, 137 Ph.D. holders and 22 M.Sc. graduates have received recognition for their research accomplishments. Additionally, 329 research researchers from other departments have enrolled in research centers to work on projects in their specific fields of study.
Collaborations: To encourage industry and research training among students, the college has inked 8 national and international Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) with institutions of higher learning, businesses, and research institutions over the past ten years. These agreements were made with National Aerospace Labs in Bangalore, Nopo Technologies in Bangalore, Gothenburg University in Sweden, SAII in the United States, NIPER in Kolkata, and Image Labels Pvt. Ltd., among others
Scholarships: To help students out financially, BMS College of Engineering offers them the chance to apply for scholarships. The college provides its deserving and meritorious students with two scholarship programmes. Government Scholarship and Huawei Scholarship for Excellence are two of these programmes. However, there are numerous possibilities available through government scholarship programmes.
Faculty: The faculty teams of BMSCE are very skilled and knowledgeable. The academic team has a Ph.D. in their area of interest-based research for about 70% of the members. Additionally, they have 5–10 years of teaching experience.
