BBD University Facilities:
- University Library: The Library provides with rich & well-stocked 2,00,000 Books, Periodicals and Journals in print as well as in electronic form with online subscription of IEEE, INDEST, Science Direct, Bentham, etc.
- BBD FM Radio at 90.8 MHz: Babu Banarasi Das University has launched its own community radio – BBD FM at 90.8 MHz to educate, sensitize and share knowledge with students and community. The radio station has its own broadcasting, production and recording facilities.
- Sports Facilities: The stadium in the campus has a capacity to accommodate more than 20,000 spectators. The stadium is extensively used for outdoor games like Cricket, Football & Hockey and Athletics (Field & Track Events). For other outdoor games, the campus has a number of courts for Volleyball, Basketball, Lawn Tennis & Badminton. The in-campus hostel students are provided with indoor games facilities like Table Tennis, Carom and Chess, etc.
- Auditorium: The university campus has an air-conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of 1000. It has JBL acoustics, cinemascope projector, and a cinemascope screen. The auditorium is regularly used for organizing cultural, technical and academic events and screening of entertainment and educational movies.
- Health Services: The University has its own ambulance service and has tie-ups with reputed local hospitals & nursing homes for medical treatment. All hostellers are insured against hospitalization expenses in addition to accidental insurance.
- Student’s Mall and Cafeteria: The Mall is a beautiful double storied, sloped roof building with Food Court, Stationery book Shop, Salon, Dispensary and Branded Outfit Shops.
- Hostels: The Hostel accommodation is on a twin/ triple sharing basis. Each Hostel has a Recreation Room with Television and Indoor Games facility. BBD University Hostel Fees is also very cheap and affordable by the common people.

Babu Banarasi Das University (BBDU) is inviting applications for its various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application at the official portal.
BBDU offers a gamut of UG and PG courses such as B.Tech, BA, B.Sc, B.Ed, B.Com, BBA, B.Pharm, MBA, MCA, etc. along with research and certification program. The courses of BBDU are in the field of Computer Applications, Pharmacy, Hotel Management, Architecture, Dental Science, Applied Sciences, Humanities & Social studies, Legal Studies & Education.
The university also offers an integrated (BBA & MBA) course which spans over 4.5 years. Admission to the integrated programme is done considering the candidate's performance in the qualifying exams of class 10+2. There is no entrance examination for admission to BBDU for the integrated courses.
BBDU is currently accepting applications for its PhD programme for the academic session 2023-24.

A master's degree in the relevant field is mandatory to get enrolled in the PhD program of BBDU. Candidates are required to appear in the written examination which is followed by an interview round. The candidates who have qualified UGC/CSIR (JRF)/NET are exempted from the written test for admission at BBDU.
The written exam will include multiple-choice questions. The first half of the questions should focus on research methods, including general research ability, computer skills, and so on, while the second half will be on the subject. The examination will be for a duration of 60 minutes. The results will be made available on the university website and individual applicants will not be informed.
