Admission shortlisting at IES MCRC is done based on CMAT/ GMAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CAT/ ATMA/ MH-CET entrance exam. IES’s MCRC final admission is based on the aptitude test, micro presentation, essay writing, work experience, Psychometric Test, Personal Interview (PI) and academic performance. Admission to the Ph.D. course is done on the basis of the Ph.D. entrance test conducted by Mumbai University followed by a series of interviews.
IES MCRC has a record of 97% placement with 218 recruiters of high repute visiting the campus for final recruitment drive. The highest package for PGDM and PGDM Pharmaceutical Management during Placement Drive 2022 was recorded at INR 10 LPA and INR 6.6 LPA respectively.

Training & Internships
Summer internships are conducted by the college during the break after the first year. 100% students get placed for the summer internships. They are also of the similar sectors like final placement ie for media, IT, FMCG, BSFI, etc and profiles offered are business analysts, HR analyst, consultants, marketing trainee, etc. Projects that are given are to analyse marketing campaign success and assistance in the same, social media management, promotional campaign building, company profiling and valuation, etc. Overall it is a good experience to understand the working of the actual corporate work and apply the theory we learnt in the first year in the summer internship.

The College Provides all sorts of recreational facilities. Students play major indoor and outdoor games like Table Tennis, Carrom, Chess in the campus and outdoor games like Cricket, Volleyball, Badminton, Throw ball in the hired grounds. Major informal discussion between students usually happens during breaks and free time in our College Canteen situated on ground floor or in the Cafeteria on the 2nd floor.

Hostel For Male
capacity of hostel is only of 30 student from which for management student only 10-15 seats are available. Hostel is 6 km away from the college. Facilities like hot water, daily cleaning, light, bed, cupboard are available in sufficient quantity.
The college building is situated next to Lilavati Hospital in the West of Bandra. Wi-Fi enabled. Multiple events and activities are held. Guest lectures are arranged. The college has a great library, canteen, CCD on the 2nd floor and much more. Amazing experience with the college so far with lots of fun.

Placement
Placement Experience : Many renowned companies such as Deloittee, P&G, ITC, Mondelez, Flipkart, Asian Paints, Hershey's, etc come for the final placements of the second year students.There are more than 160 companies who come for final placements. The average package is 6 lakhs and highest package last year was 10 lakhs. Profiles that were offered were for FMCG, BSFI, Education, Media, IT, etc. Around 90% of students got placed in the final placements due to the proper training provided by the placement cell for the interviews and job roles.
Everything has been disturbed because of this Pandemic. The job market was really hit because of it. All the Students were ideally supposed to get placed by the end of Jan its nov end and only a handful of students are placed. they are placed with ICICI bank with the package of 650000 few with Asian paints, other companies that came on campus were rustomjee, berger paints, asus, hunt partners, dcb. The placement is above average, almost around 80-90% get placed. The internships are phenomenal as all of the students get internships.

IES MCRC Holds Virtual INSIGHT 2020:-
January 24, 2021: INSIGHT 2020, IES's Management College and Research Centre's 19th Annual Pharma Conference, was held on Sunday, January 24, 2021, with a large turnout of undergraduate pharmacy and life sciences scholars, faculty members, pharmaceutical industry specialists, academics, and institute patrons. INSIGHT has grown in popularity among pharmacy and Life Sciences students as a platform for them to become Enlightened, Energised, and Engaged with their future over the years. The theme for this year was appropriately titled "Quest for the Future in the New Normal." Farida Hussain, Director - Chronic & Splendore Business of the pharma giant USV, gave the keynote address, informing the young, lively minds about the pharma industry's resiliency during the ongoing pandemic. She stressed the importance of adaptability, accountability, and resilience as essential qualities for long-term performance. The coveted awards funded by major pharma firms to the students of the PGDM Pharma Management programme have become one of the highlights of INSIGHT. ACG Worldwide Awards for the Best Summer Project Interlink Consultancy Gold Medal for the Best Live Project Zydus Healthcare Awards for the Excellence in Academic Performance.

December 9, 2019: Students of IES MCRC PGDM-Pharma and Healthcare Management organised an event called “INSIGHT 2019” which was held successfully on December 9 in Dadar. The theme was "Unlocking the Generation Z Power". The conference witnessed keynote address, panel discussions, PGDM PHM students' industry-sponsored awards, in addition to career guidance, competition, awards and other activities, witnessed by over 300 undergraduate students from universities across Mumbai, industry experts and academics. The debate on 'Roadmap to the success of Generation Z' was moderated by Prof. Ulhas Karkhanis. Eminent industry experts such as VP Marketing-CIPLA, Sunil Gupta, Rishi Jagmohan Singh from Wockhardt, HR Advisor Mohit Suri, and Coach & Mentor Vivek Sarda participated in the discussion.
