Jagran Lakecity University (JLU) Bhopal is a private university established under Section 2(f) of UGC Act 1956 and is based out of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
JLU Bhopal is one of the fastest growing and one of the most awarded universities of Central India having practice-based pedagogy at its core. Currently, the university is offering 50+ degree programs to more than 2500 students from 8 countries and 27 states of India.
The university has numerous Partnerships with Top Industries and International Educational Institutes, ensuring the students get great exposure both nationally and internationally. JLU Bhopal is the only participating university from Central India ERASMUS+ programme under the Tuning India Project, funded by the European Commission and is also currently the country chair for Association of Universities of Asia Pacific (AUAP).
Jagran Lakecity University became the first university in MP & CG to be awarded the 'DIAMOND' rating by QS I-Gauge, an International Rating agency in June 2021. JLU was ranked 30th best private university in India by the Education World in 2021 and also got the E-Learning Excellence for Academic Digitisation (E-Lead) Certification 2020-21, by QS I –Gauge.

World Values Survey Association
The World Values Survey Association is signing a Memorandum of Understanding with Jagran Lakecity University for the conduct of Wave 7 of the survey in India. The Vice Chancellor of JLU, Dr. Sandeep Shastri has been the India Coordinator of the World Values Survey since 2005 and has been involved with the earlier Waves of the Survey. The Wave 7 is to be implemented towards the latter half of 2021.JLU is securing INR 18 lakhs from the World Values Survey Association for a consultancy project.
Forum of Federations
The Forum of Federations is an international organization that develops and shares comparative expertise on the practice of federal and decentralized governance through a global network. Dr Sandeep Shastri, Vice Chancellor of Jagran Lakecity University is a Senior Adviser to the Forum and is a Lead Expert for its project in Myanmar. There are a range of consultancy activities that are linked to the project and are based out of the University. JLU has already received INR 2 lakhs towards consultancy from the Forum of Federations.
Konrad Adenauer Stiftung
The Indian office of Konrad Adenauer Stiftung is collaborating with Jagran Lakecity University to conduct a Workshop on Governance and Policy Reforms. The Vice Chancellor of the University is a Resource Person for the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung’s Singapore office program called KASYP – Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Young Politicians Training Programme. JLU has received INR 25,000 towards the consultancy from the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung organisation.

Scholarship entitlements & pre-requisite
- A student will be eligible to apply for a scholarship after paying One-time charges.
- Any student eligible for a scholarship under the above-mentioned criteria is supposed to APPLY for the scholarship in the prescribed online form / offline form.
- The student will be required to submit a note on the Statement of Purpose (limited to 1500 words).
- All-Academic Scholarship will be on Year 1 Tuition Fee only.
- Student can avail any ONE concession / scholarship. No clubbing is allowed.
- Students can opt for either competitive exam-based scholarship or qualifying exam-based scholarship for both UG & PG programs.
- In case of withdrawal, the scholarships granted will automatically stand cancelled, and they may / may not be granted again if students wish to reapply or continue the admission once a withdrawal request is initiated.
