Training & Internships

Internship :-

1st August 2020 was the day that juniors of first year B.Ed. And M.Ed. Course of MITWPU’ School of Education bid adieu to a “Golden batch of B.Ed. and M.Ed.” Course. It was a day that filled everyone’s heart with mixed feelings of fulfillment and sadness, anxiety and eagerness. Because of covid-19, it was decided to conduct online live farewell for students on Cisco Webex platform. Welcome address was given by Dr. Archana Chaudhari, HOS, School of Education followed by Dr. Suhasini Desai, Director of Teaching and Learning, school of Education MIT-WPU guided the outgoing batch with her words of wisdom Professor P. Subramanian, Director, Career Services MITWPU advised the outgoing students to see the challenging time as an opportunity and congratulate them for choosing noble profession. Hon. Prof. Dr. R.M. Chitnis, Pro-Vice Chancellor, MITWPU congratulated the outgoing students for successfully completing B.Ed. and M.Ed. Degree. Many cultural programs were arranged by the junior students to celebrate the success of their seniors.

MIT World Peace University Scholarship

MIT Pune provides merit scholarships to meritorious and deserving students. The scholarships are offered based on students’ academic performance and the performance in proposed National level/State Level entrance including MIT-WPU internal tests (UGPET & PGPET) for the academic year 2022-23. The Merit Scholarship of MIT WPU is categorized below:

Dz Vishwanath Karad Merit Scholarship: This scholarship would provide a 100% waiver on the tuition fees for all the years to the top 5% of students under the given program subject to the fulfillment of conditions mentioned under the respective policy.
MIT - WPU Merit Scholarship: This scholarship is based on the merit of the students and applicable to the first year of the program(s) and valid for the academic year where it is announced. In this Merit Scholarship, there are 5 categories of Scholarships namely 1) 100% fee waiver 2) 75% fee waiver 3) 50% fee waiver 4) 25% fee waiver 5) 10% fee waiver.
Scholarship to Rank Holders: This scholarship is awarded to rank holders of the program every year, securing 1st or 2nd rank in respective MIT-WPU annual examinations. The rank holder scholarship will be awarded to eligible students from the second year of the program and onwards.
Scholarships to Elite Sportsperson: This scholarship is awarded to deserving sportspersons based on their participation/ performance in nationally/internationally recognized sports competitions/events.
Scholarship awarded to Wards of MIT WPU/ MAEER’s Staff Members
Special Scholarships: This scholarship will be awarded to students having high potential in the fields such as entrepreneurship & Innovation, Sports, Arts, Cultural, Design, Media, and Social Activities.
Other Scholarships: It includes defense scholarships, Physically disabled students, J&k Migrant and alumni scholarships
