With the sole objective of meeting the long felt need for a centre of scientific and educational research, which would meet the challenges of the present and the future , MIT Group of Institutions was established as a society and charitable trust. Since then, the MIT Group of Institutions has grown exponentially and has made a strong impact in the field of education throughout the country. Today, the MIT Group provides education in the fields of Engineering, Medicine, Pharmacy, Marine Engineering, Insurance, Distance Education, Telecom Management, Lighting, Design, Food & Technology, Retail Management, Masters in Business Administration, School of Government and School Education.
Internship :-
1st August 2020 was the day that juniors of first year B.Ed. And M.Ed. Course of MITWPU’ School of Education bid adieu to a “Golden batch of B.Ed. and M.Ed.” Course. It was a day that filled everyone’s heart with mixed feelings of fulfillment and sadness, anxiety and eagerness. Because of covid-19, it was decided to conduct online live farewell for students on Cisco Webex platform. Welcome address was given by Dr. Archana Chaudhari, HOS, School of Education followed by Dr. Suhasini Desai, Director of Teaching and Learning, school of Education MIT-WPU guided the outgoing batch with her words of wisdom Professor P. Subramanian, Director, Career Services MITWPU advised the outgoing students to see the challenging time as an opportunity and congratulate them for choosing noble profession. Hon. Prof. Dr. R.M. Chitnis, Pro-Vice Chancellor, MITWPU congratulated the outgoing students for successfully completing B.Ed. and M.Ed. Degree. Many cultural programs were arranged by the junior students to celebrate the success of their seniors.
MIT Pune provides merit scholarships to meritorious and deserving students. The scholarships are offered based on students’ academic performance and the performance in proposed National level/State Level entrance including MIT-WPU internal tests (UGPET & PGPET) for the academic year 2022-23. The Merit Scholarship of MIT WPU is categorized below:
MIT Pune B.Tech Scholarship is divided into Group A, Group B and Group C. The scholarship is offered based on national/state level entrance tests. Mentioned below are the details of the B.Tech Group A Scholarships:

MIT World Peace University has two separate buildings are meant for girl students, one in MIT School/ Hostel campus near MIT boys hostel, with a capacity of 300 girl students and the other building is located in the MIT College Campus, accommodating 175 girl students. Hostel accommodation is allotted to students strictly on merit basis during the first year. International students are given preference.
